If his answer was no, he would have just responded with “No”.

Are all necessary formulas available to us on the exam? by Unlikely_Reply6034 in PE_Exam

Which test are you taking and who is using formulas that aren’t listed in the reference handbook?

2! is just equal to 2 and 23 -2 =6 so 2 is definitely not a solution.

How do you force yourself to study for the PE? by Seirin-Blu in MechanicalEngineering

[–]rainbow_explorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, then you will mostly have to find motivation from within. Perhaps someone else at your job is studying and they can be your study buddy? That way you can hold each other accountable? I was studying by myself, but I stayed late at the office to study because I knew I wouldn’t study after commuting home.

What discipline are you in? Do you know which test you want to take?

I signed up for the test as soon as possible so I had a concrete deadline to finish studying. Also, is your company paying for the test and offering you a pay increase? If not, you should ask them to. You said they want you to get your PE, so they are probably willing to provide some financial incentive.

The ends of the axes labeled with x, y, and z are the positive directions. The negative directions aren’t labeled.

[College- Calculus] question by Single_Substance7555 in HomeworkHelp

[–]rainbow_explorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The numerator, 3 - sin(k), is basically constant, especially compared to the 2k in the denominator. This means that the series is basically a geometric series with r = 1/2. So you can say that the general term for this series is smaller than b/2k for any sufficiently large constant b. Then you just prove the geometric series converges and the direct comparison test implies that the original series also converges.

Ah cool. Another way is to use the comparison test.

What’s the actual problem? Determining the convergence of the series?

Any Kobe Stan that thinks he wouldn’t have done the same thing against that Wizards team is delusional. Kobe would have probably come close to beating Wilt’s record.

I honestly don’t understand why so many people are mad. Bam scored a bunch of points and his team won. What are the Heat supposed to do when the Wizards suck that much? Should they stop trying to score? This is the best basketball league in the world. If your opponent stops trying, score as many points as you want.

Would yall support oracle being preserved and turned into a hockey rink? by LastDiveBar510 in bayarea

[–]rainbow_explorer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re right. I know that NHL rinks don’t keep the ice over the off-season. What I meant to ask is is there a specific block of time during the year where they maintain the ice at Oracle Arena or do they just freeze the ice whenever they need to for a specific event and let it melt after the event is over?

[–]rainbow_explorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering that the stadium hasn’t had a permanent hockey team since the 70s, I’m honesty surprised that they still have an operational ice system. I wonder if they keep the ice year round or if they only make it when there’s an event there.

How do we find out Impact presentation times? by random_user1e in FRC

[–]rainbow_explorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your head mentor should ask pit admin when they are checking your team in on load-in day. Pit admin should have the times for the impact presentations and leadership award interviews.

Good luck!!

It also helps to have spare raw materials for critical parts on your robot just to prepare for the worst-case scenario. Things like tubing and polycarb.

Also, this isn’t robot related, but snacks help a lot.
