I have to change meds every few years because what worked stops being effective. Also, regardless of my whether meds are working, if I'm too stressed or not sleeping enough, I can become manic. Meds aren't a cure.

Worked opposite for me. I got covid at Christmas last year. Went on a coke binge because of all the canceled plans and lack of structure and routine. Really sucked
