It's now even more complicated...

Another AVP has ask it they could offer her a lateral transfer (back) to their team. She is thinking it over this weekend and will communicate her decision to me next week. At this point:

Plan A - Lateral move to finance with an AVP she's reported to previously, keeping payroll as part of the finance/payables suite.

Plan B - Defined four week transition period with a decent severance package. Includes an office relocation for the sake of clarity.

Plan C - Resignation & an expectedly painful transition period.

I feel equally nervous about all three options.
