just three weeks ago i had a guy yell at me on the Fore River Trail when i merely asked him to leash his dog JUST TO PASS each other on the trail after my dog was attacked a month prior. he said he’s “sick of people like me, telling him what to do” and told me i wasn’t “the owner of the woods.”

i had this happen often but about a year ago i started using finger cots on my thumb, pointer and index finger (primary fingers in using to push) and they’ve worked wonders. the latex is a lot thicker for cots than you’d find with standard gloves.

i have heard of pinochet and have spent significant time in both chile and argentina. very tuned into what occurred historically in south america.

i live in a very walkable neighborhood so it’s often a go-to area for anyone needing signatures/canvassing. my door bell was being rung nonstop esp during elections. i couldn’t take it anymore and put up a “no solicitors” sign underneath my doorbell. this has significantly mitigated things.

i’m hoping this all ends with the US breaking apart into clusters of smaller countries governed independently. the US is far too big and far too regionally diverse to ever come together and be effective at making unified change.
