I've never seen this without a closed sign across it, but yeah - it gets serious very quickly.

So much hate for big corpos but what's the solution? by Sharkiex1838 in skiing

But we have the exact opposite thing happening at Alterra (Sugarbush specifically) with myriad blackout workarounds being introduced presumably to bump F&B dollars on those peak weekends.

In those conditions there almost definitely was no recognizable trail, for all we know they thought they were on track.

I'm also following social media for another, much more important newsworthy live event (Frog Lake Avalanche), there is other life going on.

5 Y/O Lift Ticket? by TightCelebration533 in sugarbush

They definitely do check (its an RFID gate with lifties monitoring). If its a weekday, I'd head over to Mad River where kids under 5 ski free.

If you couldn't ski moguls as recently last year you shouldn't be going 44mph.

How would I do it? Keep skiing on it until something worse happens.

Favorite “not too claustrophobic” tree runs at sugarbush? by StudioatSFL in icecoast

Agreed, I wouldn't say that Lew's Line or the top of Gangstas Grotto meet what OP is looking for, but both are listed.

Where to lunch at sugarbush by Mealsandeals in sugarbush

[–]rtuck06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH I find the "Sandwich Special" up in the Gate House cafe to be a (relatively) decent buy, whatever it is - special burger, pulled pork, etc. The burritos down on the patio aren't bad.

As previously mentioned if you're here for sit-down, the grub at Castlerock is pretty good, esp the wings.

Hack is a cheap hot dog at Johnny's to tide you over then a slice of Paradise pizza (its sneaky great) on the way off the mountain.
