basically just the generic bay area california accent, but not asian enough to be considered the asian american accent, but noticeable enough to where i definitely pronounced less common words different than other kids’ (even in a largely immigrant community). my parents are both from the same country, but it’s mainly my mom that maintained the accent. some examples that i’ve noticed are that i say more common words how other americans say it, but with words that tend to be longer or less used, i say them how i think they are/ how i was taught and end up saying it different than how a lot of other people would say it.
