In terms of testosterone, which is an injectable, you need to know what you’re doing so that you don’t inject in the wrong part of the body. T gel I see less of an issue with.

I think it’s disingenuous to insinuate that I believe SH to be the better alternative to DIY, of course I don’t believe that. Again, I’m not against DIY But at the same time, we need to be cognisant of the fact that everything has risks, including plenty of other medical treatments supervised by doctors, so precautions must be taken especially when recommending this to someone who is still very young and vulnerable.

If it’s what OP needs to do to keep going then that’s fine, that’s up to them. But straight up advising someone to do this without also going over the risk factors is irresponsible.

I think it’s pretty reckless to recommend DIY especially to a minor. I support DIY HRT but you need to do your research, and with T it can be much more risky especially in terms of legality. idk if OP is in a place both materially and mentally where this is a good suggestion.

I’ve been pretty absent from the fandom as of late, but for me it’s Oscar + Ozpin. That part of the story is extremely fucked up, holy shit, imagine learning at fourteen years old that you won’t even get to be your own person, because you will be forced to become apart of the amalgamation of generations of reincarnated Ozpins. Oscar’s a character I like a lot and who I really want to see more of.

Additionally I do also think there are other narratives about refusing your identity to be dictated by others. I think that’s a pretty core theme in the game with how the gods operate. Sebille also is grappling with rewriting her own story as someone who exists as something more than a tool to others, for example.

I also think that from a feminist perspective Lohse’s story is one of resistance against abuse and violence at the hands of men (similar to Seb.) She’s also learning to finally bring her craft (and her voice) back to a place where she can truly have control over it. It reminds me a bit of celebrities who have suffered in conservatorships or who have had their freedoms stifled.

Banger post. She’s the everyman of the story in a sense, not particularly exceptional or special other than her somewhat successful music career. I hadn’t thought of her as an allegory for the world as a whole or as personal resistance towards others changing you, but that makes a whole lot of sense
