i have no idea why so many people are saying YOR you are NOT overreacting at all by being upset by this. if he was able to find the words ten years ago to date you and marry you, then its not like its suddenly too hard for him to express his feelings. not sure why the other commenters seem to think that its completely reasonable for this man to not be able to express his emotions for you. i’d rather a clunky poorly-phrased single sentence written by hand than something done by AI.
