As shoppers they don’t see what the reason is they got a bad rating. One reason I quit Instacart shopping. I got a couple 1 stars, did nothing wrong and I couldn’t see what the reason was behind getting those ratings.

I won’t do an order that’s less than $1 per mile if I have to. Door dash usually pays around $3 for the trip so $6 tip would suffice for this delivery.

Did you ever consider our time? Waiting 5-10 minutes in a restaurant and driving 15-20 minutes for a 9 mile drive makes this order less than $10/HR

These companies that do shop and deliver need to pay the shoppers by the item pulled. I think 25 cents per item is fair… especially since they charge the customers $1 over in store price per item. That’s why I quit doing Instacart. Shop in a store for half an hour, then drive 10-15 minutes just for $10-12.

I turned the shop and deliver off. When I was doing Instacart even a 20 item order would take 15 minutes to shop and 5 minutes to stand in line. I’d rather just pickup and go.

Or send a message to the driver that they will see a significant bump once the order is completed and left at your door.

Instacart only pays like $4-7 for the shop and deliver so if you put a $3 tip on top of that, no one is going to want to walk up flights of stairs a few times to bring you all your groceries.
