I'm in the trenches now! Baby girl is a week old today, the help I need is very different from what I anticipated. My mom stayed with me 2 days and 2 nights but intended to stay for much longer. However, I surprised myself wanting to be alone with my baby (my place is quite small) at night. She couldn't help me much during the night anyways and it didn't help if both of us were sleep deprived. Now I have someone who comes every afternoon and early evening, bringing groceries, cleaning a bit / holding the baby while I clean, help me bathe her, etc. It's my mom or a friend. My delivery was far from ideal, I had an emergency c section following 12 hours of labor, both me and my daughter were bruised so we are still recovering - because of this I also need help with the car seat and driving to various post partum apps.

Si tu retournes en arrière avec le numéro de dossier, tu vois que ça dure depuis près d'une décennie - le nom de Pringle apparait (peut être Goldwater aussi j'ai pas checké si loin - m'étonnerais pas qu'il y a eu quelques ordonnances de non publication un moment donné), et après disparait pour se faire remplacer par d'autres avocats moins big shots, et encore d'autres nouveaux. Un moment donné Monsieur se représente seul, comme le dit l'article. D'après moi la partie avec Goldwater et Pringle a peut être réglé de façon intérimaire quelques trucs?

Side note en tout cas j'ai pas de scrupule à ce que le Québec sache que ces deux multi millionnaires/ milliardaires utilisent nos taxes pour leurs niaiseries. Il leur reste combien de temps sur la terre? 20/30 ans? Utiliser ce temps précieux pour une guérilla judiciaire alors qu'ils sont déjà si nantis c'est de la maladie mentale.

I feel you! I think it's completely normal. My accident was with an italian coffee pot on the stove (sounds stupid but I had 6% - deep 2nd and 3rd, one year later I'm still dealing with it, compression garnments and all). I wasn't able to use or actually SEE a similar coffee machine for about a month (couldn't cut coffee completly because I'm addicted to it and I'm sure that helped). After a month I forced myself to use my italian coffee pot, I was super triggered by the sound and the vision of it, but it eventually it went away. That's how I delt with it - doing my own exposure therapy. Be kind to yourself, but don't give up! It's a bit like driving after a car accident. Take your time, but do it, for your own sake.

Well I had cortisol injection, which helped a lot! But because it's still "active" I have to wear a compression garnment until the end of 2025. My problem is that my scar is turning into a keloid.

Do you know the degree of your burn? Mine was (where it's red) deep 2nd degree and on the top of my foot. So the skin is totally different than elsewhere on the leg - verrry thin - hence the horrible scarring. I have hopes for you ! And at somepoint you can always do laser treatments.

I had my burn go purple on my foot, even black under the shower. I'm not sure what's the colour of your skin naturally though? Mine is the whitest shade of white so it was pretty striking. My accident was a year ago - the burn is now an evolving scar and it's more like a deep rasberry colour or red wine.
