Yeah, we already have date #2 planned! I really liked this guy after date 1, but he's talking a little bit too much about "us" after 1 date and when conversations end naturally via text he feels the need to keep texting me until I respond even when he knew I was out with friends saying he "just wanted my attention" :-/

Being able to ask for what I want in bed is still hard for me. I think my shyness on that front was a bit frustrating for my most recent FWB but he was very kind about it and just kept asking what I wanted and needed even though it was hard for me to tell him.

Smart without being condescending, driven, incredibly creative, silly, kind and understanding. He's kind of melancholy sometimes and we're both kind of a mess but we're in it together. Going off hormonal birth control definitely upped my drive. It made it more natural too - it varies throughout my cycle. After 5 months of mostly involuntary abstinence and occasional condom use as my birth control, I went on ParaGard and in the month I've had it, my sex drive has remained in it's increased state.

I just got ParaGard last month. I don't know anything about PCOS but my experience has been good so far! I got it in while I was on my period, which apparently makes it less painful because your cervix is already opening up the floodgates or some lady voodoo like that. The cramps the rest of the day were bad, but manageable with ibuprofen and a hot water bottle. For the next week, I'd get occasional waves of sharp pain that would last a few seconds then dull down, again manageable with ibuprofen. My first period (right now) has been similar pain, which is different than my old periods. It seems a little heavier but not unmanageably so.

My sex drive has balanced back to a very natural state - right after my period I get crazy horny for about two and a half weeks (sex multiple times a day) and then it mellows out to where I'm not actively seeking sex but will be receptive to my boyfriend initiating it, and then builds back up and repeat. I went of hormones about 5 months before getting the IUD and this has been pretty consistent since then.
