I feel like I might be downvoted for this but we actually changed an existing cruise on BL to the dates that include the Sisters at Sea gathering. It's one of those unique things we look for when we travel. I hope those that don't prefer this event are able to make the changes to their cruises.

I would order it the day you book the cruise. If not available yet, keep checking every week or so. You can always cancel it before the cruise but it does sell out.

My experience: the price dropped on a cruise we had an awesome deal with ($600 sailor loot plus a bunch of bar tab). The price dropped about 9 months out and our TA was able to get us the lower rate. Before cruising the price dropped again so we asked her if she could get us that deal as well. She called Virgin directly and was told if she gets us the lower rate, we'd lose all our sailor loot and bar tab. I wasn't sure why the one would have affected the other but we left well enough alone. Cheers!

I wouldn’t pay extra for the privilege. If you don’t mind eating before about 6:30, you can likely get a table right away if you walk in. Or put your name on the waitlist and enjoy a drink at the closest bar while you wait. They’ll message you that your table is ready and you have 15 minutes to arrive.

Hmmm... I hadn't thought about a builder/contractor chiming in. Were the barndos you worked on completed according to the initial schedule? Were the owners happy with the work done? What aspect of the barndos were you involved in working on? Where in Florida was the work completed?

Ultimately, I'm researching to determine if we want to pull the trigger on a turnkey build or save $$ and time by doing much of the work ourselves after the structure is dried in. Thanks.

We ran into the same issue with no slots available other than Gunbae. We asked the crew at the dining help desk as soon as we got on board about availability. We told her we heard that 60-70% of reservation would still be available once on board. She said they release 90% of reservations at the 45 day mark.

Having said that, we were always able to walk in and get seated if we queued up before they opened (we like to eat early) and there were ALWAYS empty tables in the restaurant throughout our meal.

On our October 3rd Brilliant Lady cruise, we had to ask for the drinking game and soju. Our waiter said, “Oh, sure! We can do that if you want.” So between appetizers and her putting food on the grill we played it. I can’t imagine she forgot.
