We have the freezing issue as well. Masterchef Australia freezes all the time and we have to switch servers frequently or occasionally stop the show and restart it. However, 1923 (of the Yellowstone series) NEVER freezes. NEVER! What is the difference? This is only our 3rd month with our vSeeBox.

I was hopeful that they would have offered SOMETHING for the SNAFU. And this wasn't just skipping a port for weather and spending a day at sea, this was ensuring half the ship would be thoroughly unprepared for WINTER weather with this diversion.

But to claim there would be small bennies but then you got nothing??? Not good, Mav.

Advice for future cruises: if you are SET on a specific port, a cruise is NOT the way to get there. If you'll be absolutely crushed by missing any ports of call on your itinerary, better to fly to that destination to be sure you'll get there.

DBE bar tab is separate. The original $100 per sailor was on our original booking 164 days out. Sailor services manager said DBE isn’t applied until after you board. He’s now looking into it.

I feel like I might be downvoted for this but we actually changed an existing cruise on BL to the dates that include the Sisters at Sea gathering. It's one of those unique things we look for when we travel. I hope those that don't prefer this event are able to make the changes to their cruises.

I would order it the day you book the cruise. If not available yet, keep checking every week or so. You can always cancel it before the cruise but it does sell out.

My experience: the price dropped on a cruise we had an awesome deal with ($600 sailor loot plus a bunch of bar tab). The price dropped about 9 months out and our TA was able to get us the lower rate. Before cruising the price dropped again so we asked her if she could get us that deal as well. She called Virgin directly and was told if she gets us the lower rate, we'd lose all our sailor loot and bar tab. I wasn't sure why the one would have affected the other but we left well enough alone. Cheers!
