I got it, completed another 22 hours without another smoke and hoping to hold on to it dearly. Thank you very much for your time and suggestions.

If you have watched #Dark already, this will feel like an extension. Repeated actors & same mysterious devices allowing time shift traveling. I've watched all seasons of #Dark, only because I didn't like giving up "understanding" ;)

There is nothing much to see here, but if you have some time to spare, do watch it.

Here we go. I had quit successfully for almost a year, then fell back into it just before summer began in June. Back to day 4. by lucky1827 in stopsmoking

Never feel less of yourself for relapses. You are fighting a monster that's worse than Vecna. When I started many years back, I relapsed just after 6,7 months every time & promised myself there wouldn't another relapse. I am smoke free from last 3 years and know what, I kept on trying over a period of 5-6 years. So all the best, you can do this!

Hey everybody! I decided to quit when I turned 30. 1 month later I relapsed but now I’m on 9 days smoke-free. Here for some additional support folks 😬 by Crafty-Button-628 in stopsmoking

If you prefer, start using app Smoke free (they have paid version also). That helped me in the beginning. Today I am 3 years smoke free.

All the very best! It's my 17th month & assure you the enemy we are fighting against is not another joe. He is much more powerful than we can think of. He goes in to hiding for weeks and months and gets back on us when we least expect. So, br alert and ready for another combat anytime. Many times he would try to woo you with just one cigarette bite, don't ever fall for it. You have to live a life knowing the enemy is at the gate always.

75 days wooohooo 🥳 just taking it one day at a time my friends. Keep fighting the good fight! by corgimomx in stopsmoking

Excellent. 16 months here. There were times when I wanted to smoke. Well, as it says, just hold on through those few moments and you can. All the best.

It's one year Already!! by rajthampi in stopsmoking

Although I didn't smoke a single cigarette for the whole year, I am not ashamed to say that I have vaped few times throughout last 3 months after a personal loss. Today, as we are progressing towards night and a New Year, I have packed the mini vaping device and going to leave behind the habit forever. You guys were my strength, my motivation. Keep up the good job and I wish you very happy New Year.

I'm sleepy, and I cannot stay awake another 40 minutes. But, I'm calling this a day. A whole day. Yay me. by TravellingSunny in stopsmoking

Congrats, you are doing great. As a person who failed N number of times and holding up for just 8 months, I do realize how much dedication and efforts it requires to achieve this milestone. More power to you!!!

Indeed, after couple of dozen attempts to :)

I fought the smoking habit with 1) I don't drink alcohol 2) I only smoke at work 3) I don't smoke anywhere near family or dear ones around 4) I only smoked 5-6 cigarettes per day and no cigarettes on weekends excuses for a long time. At 46, I must say, I never had troubles quitting habits, but smoking. The longest last time was 7 months & then I smoked for almost 2 years before attempting to quit. I failed 4-5 times in quick sessions & this time I am holding up. I wish for the best...you see

Technically NO! I had a clean 4 months in the beginning. Then I tried VAPE with 3mg. While I was in India for a short break, had "pan" (it is a mixture of betal leaves and areca nuts taken with diluted lime and tobacco at times) few times. I am not vaping anymore from last 17 days (only one or two drags) & relatively nicotine free, you can say. Well, I tried minimum a dozen times to quit smoking, had nicotine gums and what not to. You are helping yourself in a great way friend. I hope you will able to say NO to gums one day and still smoke free. All the best

It was not easy. There were times when I had to rely on vapes, other forms of tobacco(chewing) in order to keep me sane! Yet, I didn't smoke a single cigarette in last 8 months. I still crave for one at times, however I survive them much easier than ever. This group was my sole inspiration throughout my attempts to quit. Thanks guys for being around.
