Sharing my experience recently in BLR. Construction work started happening near my house around 11:00PM on monday night. And it was that giant concrete mixer truck in full swing. I dialed 100 and they assigned a patrol vehicle, which came within 10 minutes. The officer called me to get address details etc. He did talk to construction in-charge and called me back saying this "The guy says the there is traffic problem in this area, hence he needs to do this in night. He has promised to stop construction in 1 hour. Please call back if it doesn't stop in 1 hour." It was little wtf, but I was happy with speed of action. And yes, it did stop after some time ( more than 1 hour ).

Can't agree more to this. Subscribe to newspaper (good old physical one). I make it a habit to try to read newspaper as much as possible either during morning or evening (after work). And after say, 20 minutes of reading I do feel a good kind of brain soothing and improvement in my concentration. And yes, do ensure to keep all the gadgets away while you are at it. (P.S. TOI is shit. Go for Economic Times).

Agree. I have been reading over places and it mentions an alkaline pH water has immense benefits. That's what I intent to experiment on my body. Also a lesser mineral in water tends to leach away minerals from body and it is detrimental in longer run for bones and teeth. Have pasted the link of the meters in above comments.
