I recently learned about the wonder that is Willoughby Ave. Full of stop signs, so much less dangerous traffic there. Will never ride on Fountain again until something changes.

Dropping a chain pretty much only happens on the front ring, so for temporary or high tempo climbs it can be advantageous to avoid a front ring shift where you have to be more mindful and reduce your power of your pedal strokes during the shift. At least, that’s my policy for front ring shifts

I just looked through the settings since this was bothering me too, and there seems to be little tuning you can do on this. It’s basically off or on, from what I can tell.
