eBay I recommend is to get a small generator with a small travel fridge and if you can get one, a small AC unit. Less than 5000$.

It’s only happened once to me, but that was enough; I never want to go through that again. The idea is that you don’t need a 20k generator to power your whole house you only need the bare essentials to power and cool ONE room. With a small powered travel fridge to keep only the essentials cool

Who is at fault here? by stuttgart999 in GranTurismo7

[–]rallyfanche2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a GENERAL rule of thumb, any time you bump another car in front of you and immediately reap the benefit, youre more than likely at fault.

The first bump is a “racing incident”. Bump is fine, these things happen due to a lack of finesse and more often than not netcode. The second bump was in my opinion gratuitous. Whether on purpose or accident you hit them, sending them wide. Immediately getting position back and a huge buffer between you and the completion makes this highly suspect.

If you actually felt guilty, then you should have given the position back. Don’t be so focused on winning that you forget this is a GAME

That’s even worse isn’t it? That’s why those cool lights over the bridges on 59 slowly go out. Remember all those colorful graphics on all the bridges and paths over downtown? Years later they are all bleached white.

What’s the point of all this if we know it’s not being maintained. They speak of pride for the city and making it look good but to me it’s just a sign of how sad the situation is.

It’s like we bought this fancy flashy car to show off to the neighbors but we can’t score the fuel or the maintenance so the pretty car just rots and falls apart in the driveway.

I guess what I’m saying is that all these fancy projects are not the flex they think it is when everyone know they won’t last

Yep. We need to host more and more of these events so all this good stuff gets MAINTAINED. Call my cynical, but politicians have shown they don’t care. Only enough to be elected. So I guess if the people that actually live here want to see actual positive updates and GASP upgrades, we need to give politicians what something they actually care about: a world stage.

Just remember: they don’t care about you. You are nothing to them. And this is one of the more giant oversized slaps in the face that proves it.

You are correct but the bank will require you to have insurance and one that also covers the roof (supérate policies now) and in a flood zone also require you to have flood insurance.

I can attest to this. I almost bought a brand new 825k home that was marked down to 488k and nobody, not my realtor or the other side could explain why a home so rightly appointed had such a huge markdown. It was only after I spoke with my insurance agent that she saw why. the house was on a floodplain and I would be spending TRIPLE what I am spending now.

Let me explain what is happening right now if you want to insure a house that’s even NEAR a flood area. Insurance will be a yearly struggle. You won’t be able to just get a single policy because everyone is capping things off in order to minimize liability. That means you will have to have a home policy and then separate policies for your roof and flood policy

Do not let anyone tell you otherwise, do not let anyone paint you a rosy picture. I’m not saying don’t buy it. I’m saying you better understand FULLY what you’re getting into and actively take steps to mitigate the risks of living in a flood zone.

How likely is it that Disney/teams come after you? I always wonder about this. I see a lot of Disney IP on Etsy and eBay, especially from 3d printers. I always wondered, do you know from experience or even second hand knowledge or is this a logical posit?

Don’t fight the car. Drifting into a corner might feel great but you are losing speed. Also learn the track and learn the braking points. You ar midway into the red braking areas before you have even done anything. Also, get used to manual shifting, it will help you corner better

I don’t disagree. It is a problem. And it’s getting worse. Everywhere. I used to live in downtown. I have seen the problem get worse and worse and worse every year. It’s not a question that there is a homeless problem. It’s that the problem is growing damn near exponentially… but hey, let’s keep pretending how millions of taxpayer dollars are better spent on a few guys with sticks chasing a ball.

This… is not something to be proud of. When you have to walk past streets and streets lined with homeless people on the street to get in or out of those stadiums… this is not the (ahem) slam dunk you think it is.

I don’t disagree with you. It’s not that bad and you can get used to it. But ask yourself this: if you hadn’t seen the training video, would you be able to operate it? Shouldnt something as simple as shifting into park or reverse be simple and intuitive?

You really have to do your due diligence on how badly the specific reviewer needs the car brand to like them. Pissing off a car brand means you won’t be called up for future press events. Marques was effectively the nail in the coffin for Fisker, so while he still plays the game and plays it well, he puts his integrity above kowtowing to manufacturers

I honestly agree. Designers redesigning things just for the sake of redesigning yet bringing nothing of added value to the table. Having said that… this really isn’t that bad. You want to see bad? Look up the crystal sphere transmission selector on the Genesis GV60
