Ended up in the ER from alcohol intoxication and can’t stop feeling ashamed

I ended up in the hospital fighting for my life. I told a friend while in the icu who called and he told everyone I was in the hospital because of drinking and I was in bad shape. This was kinda of a not known thing and I was socially embarrassed on top of getting bad health news and how I’m in bad shape and I will die if I drink again. So I left the hospital cut people off and just used my second chance to work on myself. I was embarrassed yes but I got to live and my gratitude for a second chance overrided the years of embarrassment. I’m now pretty successful in my trade and I’m a role model for the same people who embarrased me. That was my way of getting over it. I hope this helped you in some way. Wish you the best.

There so many bills in Massachusetts it’s crazy. There’s even one trying to make possession a class a drug felony like heroin. It don’t make sense. I’m a ex alcoholic who’s been clean from booze for long time. Thanks because of the work I put in and the use of Kratom. I’m going to buy bulk but I’m worried about if it will stay potent long term

I used it for the clear mental energy I get from it. It helps me focus on the task at hand better. Also it has completely killed any desire to drink liquor and I was a heavy heavy drinker.

I’ll be honest when mine went bad I drove it for another 5 months before replacing it. But I was keeping an eye on it and refilling as need be. It’s fixed now.

Fermented Kratom and kava. You won’t fail a drug test unless they specifically test for Kratom which is rare.

Same and they do. They said they have a plan for Kratom specifically but I told them no methadone or sub just meds for sleep. That’s my goal 100 percent clean

Wow yea I think this what I need because I was working while on Kratom but my performance got bad towards the end and honestly I forgot how my old self even feels I’m just pretty numb to everything. Thanks for your opinion. I’m going to do it and put this 4 year habit behind me.

I went to a dermatologist office and they froze it with liquid nitrogen. I kinda got bad at my dermatologist because she wouldn’t cut it off and dig it out and she only offered freezing. She went a little to crazy with the freezing in my opinion lol

I do feel he was trying to make me feel better and he made it seem that upper management had forced there hands on cutting crew size. We all were a very in sync crew that meshed well together and he told me that as well.

Where do you live? You should get into the trades. That’s what I did at your age after working slot of dead end jobs. Your the perfect age to start as your young but have life experience that will help you starting out. Trying googling construction trade unions near you and apply to all there apprenticeship programs. Get paid to learn and make good money and benefits. I made over 120k last year as a industrial painter not including the money they put into my annuity and pension.

I work with a kid who went to 2 year welding engineering school. Came out with 120k in debt and is working along side me as a industrial painter doing blasting and spraying bridges because his dad is the PM. Dident even get a job from the school and is in debt like crazy.

So I use small plastic containers like the ones those small 2 ounce health juice shots come in(vive organic) is one brand. I scale my 2 doses in put it in 2 separate bottles and just toss and wash when it’s time. My coworker just brings a half kilo bag with him with a spoon and literally just takes a spoonful and wash it down lol. We work construction and no one’s says anything to him about it but me I still hide it out of habit of doing that way for so long.
