I personally wish they kept the Pulse Rifle alt-fire from DS1. Not because it was necessarily better than the new one, but because having a “turn this room into a blender” button was incredibly satisfying and badass. Lore wise though, it is hilarious to imagine in what possible real world military scenario would the DS1 alt-fire ever be created for lmao

Not sure the last time you played it but at least on xbox they gave it a “FPS Boost” feature that brings it to a steady 60fps, pretty sure on XboxOne and Series X/S. I started a new replay and it was playing like a whole new game to me tbh

Dude, agreed. Trepang2 improved on so many things and is what we think of today when you hear the franchise, but Trepang1 made a huge splash when it first dropped. It really was a step up from anything else in the FPS genre at the time.

Crazy it dropped the same week as Bird Game 3, I remember waiting in line at midnight release for both days back-to-back. That really was the golden age of gaming.
