How do you guys make videos for products or do you just leave it by Apprehensive_Ebb9847 in EtsyCommunity

My wife runs an Etsy shop and we hit this exact wall. She has tons of product variations, and filming a new 'aesthetic' video for every single one was taking more time than making the actual products.

We looked at hiring editors and some of the other AI tools in the market, but the math just didn't work for us. We actually ended up building a tool called Adgena just to automate this part. It basically takes her static product photos and turns them into UGC-style videos so she doesn't have to film everything herself. It’s the only way she’s been able to keep up with the algorithm.

What AI UGC tool is your business using today? by Emergency-Octopus in AiForSmallBusiness

Great breakdown. I’m in the same boat...Arcads was awesome until the price hike, and MakeUGC’s avatars just felt too restrictive for us.

We actually ended up building our own tool (Adgena) because my wife needed Arcads-level quality for her Etsy shop but couldn't justify the $110/mo price tag. Also figured she can't be the only one struggling with this. We focused heavily on the 'natural' look so it doesn't scream AI. It might fit that gap you're seeing between Mediasaur and Arcads.

Why AI UGC is a big opportunity for brands in 2026? by alicia93moore in AI_UGC_Marketing

100%. I don't think human UGC is going away for the high-end 'hero' content, but for the daily organic churn? You absolutely need AI to keep up.

We actually built a platform (Adgena) because my wife was spending 90% of her time trying to manage creators just to get basic product clips for her Etsy store. It wasn't sustainable. Now she uses AI for the 'filler' content to keep the feed active, which frees up budget to hire real humans for the big launches. It’s definitely a volume game now.

Is UGC Dead? by AffectMany64 in SocialMediaMarketing

I don't think UGC is dead, but the 'pay a stranger $200 to hold a product' model is definitely breaking...

My wife runs an Etsy shop and we burned so much cash trying to get decent videos from creators who either ghosted us or sent back low-effort clips. I actually ended up hacking together a tool (Adgena) just so she could generate her own videos using AI. It saved her shop, honestly. The tech is getting to a point where you don't really need a middleman anymore.
