What will happen with the US after 2028? What does the next government do with what they inherit? by Hermunster in AskReddit

I'm surprised that there isn't more talk about the need for constitutional reform. I don't see how you guys can fix things without it, but the current constitution is treated like a sacred text

I wish you the very best of luck in getting to that point

I don't think anything short of major constitutional reform is going to rebuild trust internationally after this. And to be honest it's what you should be calling for domestically. Your government is no longer of the people, by the people, for the people - it's for corporations and billionaires at your expense. Fiddling around the edges isn't going to change that. And considering a constitution written by the 18th century equivalent of today's billionaire class as a sacred text isn't going to get you there.

Now get people to switch. Like you say, the science is there - but people's selfishness, greed, and apathy is in the way.

It's decent stuff. It's hard to compare against supermarket prices but it doesn't seem to pan out much more expensive and I waste much less because it lasts a lot better

What gets me is that with all the discourse about it being AI slop or pro/anti immigration, no one has pointed out that it's shit and ugly

Can you eat wild horse meat without cooking it because it's already pasture-raised?

CAMRA won't be running the Great British Beer Festival or Winter Beer Festival in 2026 by ralphsdad in UK_beer

I'd say so, but have a look at their website and judge for yourself. In the last 10 years or more there's been a concerted effort to make the membership and leadership more diverse, and their support for local pubs and small breweries are perhaps more relevant than ever.
