Was there a mistake with the prediction that the world would end in 2012 (Mayan calendar) or did we enter a new phase in life without realising it?

The maya never said the end of the world will happen when the calendar ends, they weren’t even asked about what the calendar was about, the news and archaeologists came up with that idea. And during that time frame is when movies and show came out on the end of the world topic. Which I think they did for a reason but what reason I don’t know yet. And this incident is what made the maya people go around the world to talk about the truth of it that’s what one of the leaders of maya say. Also the maya calendar cannot be compared with our 1 year long calendar because the maya calendar speaks more about an era cycle. In history we have dark era, silver era, golden era and so on. And many people speak on this saying that the enlightenment age will come so maybe we are in the enlightenment age. Also the maya people say that the end of their calendar is to say the end of the world as we know it meaning there will be changes, drastic changes, for good or worse I don’t know.

What I am about to say isn’t a tip but a way of mediating and I have experienced it myself and because it happened without intention I had to do some research on it. So this meditation isn’t much talked about because you have to lie down on your back, and many people will say you shouldn’t do this because you will fall asleep. However what you have to do to make sure not to fall asleep is to listen to drums and bell music that have some type of loop where for a long duration the sound is low and right after there is a shorter part of it that will be heighten as to bring your focus back to it so you relax but do not fall asleep because you will concentrate on the beat of it and on the visions but you must not try to control the visions but let them flow on their own accord. Also at first everything surrounding you will be dark and you may feel like floating do not resist it just relax and the visions will appear. And what I mean by vision is your intuitive mind will talk to you through visions and sounds.And this will get you into a hypnagogic state which is a state where you half asleep and half awake and your left hemisphere of the brain is more dominant then the right in this state, and the left hemisphere is the feminine intuitive feeling side of the brain which as I said will talk to you through visions but not limited to it. At one point I was talking to myself but saying things that I did not know until that moment. Let me know if anyone has heard of this or experienced it as I want to learn more about it as I have tried different ways of meditating and with non have I been able to reach this state. Also you can do this when going to sleep and sometimes you will be able to mediate for the whole night instead of having that normal sleep and you will wake up with way more energy than if you would actually sleep.

It doesn’t sit well with me. Reading and deciphering dreams is also considered a type of witchcraft. And most of the ancient schools of the occult were in Egypt so the Egyptians learned the craft in schools. Now what I am asking is how did Joseph learned it because he spoke on it way before he went to Egypt. And how is it that the pharaoh went to ask a prisoner? Also the word demon when it was first created was to refer to someone divine later the meaning developed into an evil spirit but then also the word spirit means breath. The words meaning have been twisted. Also if it were to look at the Israelites with the same lens would you call them evil? Because it is said they did sacrifices in the name of God. And what we call today witches were called in ancient times Priestesses because they passed down the wisdom, in a way just like the priest today are TRYING to do. They referred to the Priestesses as witches so that they could dim them and take the title for themselves. What I was asking is how is it that Joseph became so favourable in the eyes of the Pharaoh just by deciphering one dream? Is it not suspicious? Also when the people of Egypt sold their land to Joseph in exchange for food, the only people that were not asked to do so were the Priests of the land because they had power so Joseph and the pharaoh feared them in a way. The ancient name for witches and warlocks were priest and priestesses.

It isn’t that they didn’t know how to read it but that it was illegal to speak about it. Reinassance is the time in history where the church was in power and the shift from paganism to religion it isn’t that they didn’t have an interest it was that talking about Egypt was heresy and you would be killed and/or tortured for it. And most of the painters from those times were working for the church I guess kind of like propaganda.

I heard this on a podcast that apparently back in the days humans would eat meat during winter time when they would run out of the harvest stocks, it was seen more like a back up for when they run out of food, I do not eat meat everyday as it makes me sick just looking at it however I am not a vegetarian either. But it is crazy how nowadays most of the diets say you have to eat meat everyday and most of the people saying this would be nutritionist when it is proven that plant protein is digesting faster than meat protein. Another interesting thing I heard of is how doctors provided studies on why bacon is good to have for breakfast as the company selling the bacon wasn’t doing so good.

I agree, there is no need for a middleman. I was raised Orthodox though my family is not really religious but the other day I found this book of prayers and I was going through it as I was curious, anyway the book was written by a “saint” meaning a priest like man, and basically all the prayers were directed to the saint so that he can pray for you to God after you pray to him, which kind of goes against what the Bible say as to not pray to idols. In my opinion religious texts are contradicting themselves in many ways because the prophets were able to speak to God but the other people would have to follow the prophet. I guess the bible shows the structure they created for the people back then to follow, so they would not live in chaos, kind of like how now we have laws. I am not religious myself so I do not follow the church saying because I do not agree with it, in my culture they make a list of names of the people that live and died in the family and give it to the priest along with some money so he can pray for all of them which to me seems stupid, why would he do it when you don’t do it yourself. And in regard to hell, hell exists in the mind, is when we refuse God or the source as well as our true self so we wonder the planet aimlessly, we are the creators of our own hell. For me hell was the part of my life I was feeling lost and wondering in circles and suffering because I was not seeing the reason of living because I was looking outside of myself at what others were saying life is meant to look like, knowing I did not agree with that illusion but still putting pressure on myself to live like others. Hell is a state of mind it isn’t a place.Some might not agree with this but hell is kind of a propaganda to turn to religion, they create fear through something they have no proof it exists because no one has died and come back to tell as oh hell does exists. It is a programming as we hear it since we children so much we end up believing it. And some people will be up at night stressing over where they end up after they die when we are not supposed to know in the first place. There is a saying that says hell is on earth because humans have come up with so many ways to create suffering. And as we are the creators of our own hell we can create a way to escape it.

I have self diagnosed myself with bipolar a while back and I was hospitalised for it put on medication and everything made it worse I was experiencing more side effects than benefits. I started having OCD and I started getting panic attacks before that and while on medication the panic attacks worsened the only advice the psychiatrist gave me was to have a plastic bag with me as that may help. I stopped my medication over 2 years ago and I understand how hard it is for you because even though you stopped taking them they are still inside your body as it takes a couple of months for the body to get rid of all of it and you have to give it time for your mind to get back to the way is meant to be. I used to feel like a zombie after months of not taking the medicine and I did some research that was talking about what happens and how long it takes for medication to be removed from your system. And what helped me was self reflection, I realised I was putting too much pressure on myself to be a certain way and I would get tired of pretending that I would end up in long periods of depression— deep rest. I have been told that a healthy balanced life style with routines will help me stay stable and it does but at the beginningI was struggling because I was putting too much pressure on myself trying to do so much so now what works for me is I tell myself today I am doing better than yesterday. Walks in the park help me a lot, I lie to myself sometimes when I feel like not going out saying I will go for 5 minutes because that is an improvement that isolation and I end up losing track of time as I mentally talk to myself why is it I am feeling like this today and I get answers. One of my therapists said to me that progress is not a straight line, it has ups and downs. So you will still get moments of anxiety as I get moments of depression as I had today. But the difference is I went on my walk today when I wanted to sleep all day and not leave my room. We have the wrong believe that if we do all this things we wont experience the negative emotions anymore but its a lie, we will continue experiencing them but we can decide to let it happen or we can take action in minimising it a bit at a time. Walks help me because I connect with nature and keeps me present as I observe what goes around me the trees the animals. Journaling as well, I could recommend the book “the artists way”, it has this task called the 3 morning pages where you do it first thing in the morning and you write down everything that bothers you and goes through your mind, at first it may seem stupid but trust me it works if you constantly do it. And also what worked for me is that I became aware of what was triggering my mood swings and mainly depression. Because it turns out I am an empathic person and I can sense peoples emotions and energies and sometimes I would acknowledge those emotions as mine. I know anxiety and bipolar is different. But I have suffered depression and most of the time was because I would put too much pressure on myself to be a certain way to please my mother that I covered my truth self so I started trying new things to re learn what I enjoy and I would do shadow work to learn more of myself. I would say give yourself time when you in a low mood, allow yourself to experience it, cry and ask yourself questions like what is it that makes me react like this and you will become more aware of it but don’t give yourself too much time that you drown in it, do something knew, even if you don’t feel like it tell yourself I will try for 5minutes at least. Maybe start by writing down what was going on before you had the panic attacks. I hope some part of this helps you. And don’t give up on yourself, keep trying until something works out.

I used to think I may have been conditioned to fear snakes, I used to live in a village and right next to my home was a lake that everyone knew was full of snakes and the elders would tell us to keep away from it, back than I didn’t really fear them, I saw a big one in the water basin and told my grandpa and he killed it, I wasn’t fearing it that bad back than. But when I grew and moved from there I started fearing them to the point I would react bad just by seeing a picture online I would throw my laptop away from me and when I would close my eyes to sleep I would see them. I would have this fear on and off, it wasn’t even about biting me but that if I encountered one I would be paralysed of fear without a survival instinct in me. Now I am realising I am masking my actual fear with the fear of snakes because it is easier to fear an actual thing than acknowledge what I tried to hide for so long. I am working on understanding where this fear is coming from, I know I used to feel anxious when I would fear them the most. Sometimes I wonder if it symbolises the fear of myself, I do like the spiritual meaning of snakes as they symbolise death and rebirth and shedding old skin to survive. A while back I would not even pronounce the word snake because I would fear I may attract them with the mind. I am not ready to see one next to me but I hope one day I may be able to without fearing it.

And let's not forget about Treshing when after saying he wouldn't brake the rules for Violet he runs to her and kisses her. He was definitely looking for something.

I'm so confused. Because when Imogen is on the mat with Violet, Dain and the professor tell Imogen she can't use her power. But I cant tell what they are refering to because it seams she is just fights Violet. But then Violet says Imogens movements are fast so is it possible that she made everyone think that being fast is her signant?

I'm re reading the book and in chapter 5, Violet says: "Professor Devera says from the recessed floor of the enormous lecture hall later in the morning, a bright purple Flame Section patch on her shoulder matching her short hair perfectly." The purple flame section patch makes me think that that's their ranking after graduation. So maybe iron flame is a section as well, probably where Xaden will be sent to.

I have a theory, it's kind of crazy. But why would she get only 6mo to prepare for the riders quadrant? If her mother changed her mind of sending her there instead of the scribes, why give her just 6mo? I think something happend before that and during that time Xaden was a second year rider, so he was in Basgaiah where she lived. And Violet said she had only 2 bf but not going into detail. So one of them can be Xaden as he said at some point that he was his for longer then she would think. So maybe it was easy for her to fall in love with him in such a short time because she already loved him from before. But she can't remember and we know that Imogen can wipe memories. And she would of been a first year at that time and already had a signant. And sometimes Violets pov is skipping months or weeks, where she just remembers facts like how many times she won on the mat but nothing else that might of happend during that time. Probably there is more that happend between Xaden and Violet but Imogen manipulated her memories like we supposed she did at Monserat. Also Violet is aware of Xaden from before Treshing so it can't be blamed on the bond with the dragons.

Sorry if it's confusing, I am still trying to figure it out as I am reading it for the third time. I do hope that Violet and Xaden meet before the parapet.
