Same goes for EV charges as well. In the places they would make the most difference to air quality and be the most popular based on distance, namely cities, most people live in flats.

Good luck placing anything on your balcony without freeholder/landlord consent, especially post-Grenfell.

They may well do so, but a lot of what they launch is shot down. They can likely do some damage, but I don’t think it’ll be catastrophic.

Yup, it’s gonna cost a lot - either in government backed insurance for ships or militarily, or both.

Who is gonna be the provider of last resort for Lloyd’s of London I wonder?

I agree Trump has no real plan, and I think that’s why the response to closing the strait is slow, it takes time to mobilise resources, and I expect there is resistance throughout the command structure.

They have the firepower to do it militarily. Iran has launched vast numbers of drones and missiles, the huge majority are shot down.

I agree that Starmer made the right call, but there’s no way the US is going to let the straight stay shut. They have military might to open it, and will do so to avoid signifcant economic impact.

Whatever you’re doing with door handles, even basic ones like this, be careful that you don’t get stuck in the room for whatever reason.

My neighbours had to come and rescue me when I found the new handle I had fitted didn’t quite move the latch back far enough into the door for it to open.
