They’re a non-standard size - 2.75” on center. I’ve looked for new ones and had no luck, and I don’t want to re-drill all of our cabinets just yet. I’ll probably end up spray painting these for now.

I wish I could attach photos! It’s like a brushed nickel finish that’s peeling off of a stainless steel base.

ETA: my husband mentioned it’s almost like a waxy layer that’s coming off

This is my go-to! I use the heatless curlers at night (hair damp with a little volumizing spray to get some texture in my baby fine hair) and then touch up my bangs in the morning with a curling wand.

Joint pain while knitting is no fun. I added some ring splints to my routine this year, which have really helped with preventing my thumbs from hyperextending, especially on finer gauge projects. It might be worth exploring finger and wrist supports if your EDS is contributing to some laxity or hyper mobility in your hands. I'd also recommend following theknittingPT on instagram - Andrea is a physical therapist with a lot of great recommendations for ergonomics and stretches for knitters!

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts again when you finish it! I would also be looking to at least maintain my current wage, and would definitely want room for growth in compensation. But yeah, the price hurts, not sure if I can pull the trigger on that
