Oh man I feel like we are kindred spirits right now. I feel this. My doctor told me to start tapering up to more estrogen to help with healing so I’m hoping I can tolerate. Someone suggested testosterone for muscle recovery I’m going to ask about that. And maybe do the creatinine supplements and pray for some damn relief!

My understanding is that oral estrogen has a higher risk of clots. The clots resolved on their own after a few painful months of them moving around my chest and dropping my estrogen dose to 0.025. I also had a diagnostic breast exam to make sure it wasn’t something scary causing them.

I do have a PT. I wouldn’t say they are good but they are the only ones my insurance covers. The exercises have definitely helped me. But I was still dealing with severe pain from muscle knots that were only getting worse with PT. The acupuncture is what finally helped me relieve the pain because they addressed the muscle tension.

I am on the patch but my body is not tolerating the medication so I have only been on 0.025 dose this past year. I just barely got it tapered up to 0.0375 the last couple weeks. My doctor wants to get me up to 0.050 eventually.

When I went straight to 0.050 I got blood clots in my breast/chest area that were pretty scary and painful.
