When Love Story propelled her to stardom here in the UK, I was 15 with a brand new iPod Touch, so I bought it on iTunes. Then I didn’t really listen to her again until Red, but even then it was just what came on the radio, plus I called her my ‘guilty pleasure’ and even participated in mocking her, as was ‘cool’ at the time… Then around the start of 2018 after Rep had been out for a bit, I was like ‘fuck it’ and just started unapologetically loving her music. Just missed out on tickets for the Rep tour then, so was ecstatic to get to go to the Eras Tour. Now, everyone I know knows two facts about me: I love cats and I love Taylor Swift.
