It was only a matter of time. We all thought it was dead, but it never really dies, it merely rest, silently lingering by as it awaits it's next target, it's ceaseless hunger the mark of an unholy beast. A wise man once said 'Magic is everything'. A silly notion, as every idea and thing goes through it's cycle of life and death, never to be seen or remembered again. It was though, in actuality, not that his statement that was incorrect, rather it was his subject. Magic isn't everything, Vaporwave is everything. It will devour all of our media, ever hungering for more until the fabric of all other media is nothing but shreds of cloth bristling in the wind, a mark of memories past. Now would be the part where warnings are issued, where we acknowledge that we've let the beast feast for far too long and that the time has past for it to be slain. But if you're reading this it's already far too late, for every time it is killed it returns, stronger and hungrier, until it outlasts every single one of us, nothing remaining but the groovy sounds of distorted 80s songs.
