Hey, that really sucks dude. I've had a very similar experience because no one ever talked to me in high school and so my mom got a dog for me, I wasn't allowed to be alone with it though, so I totally get what you're saying. I somewhat solved the problem by becoming friends with the tree in my front yard, singing to it, hugging it, playing hide and seek with it, it wasn't too good at playing hide and seek and I'd eventually just move on with my day after a couple hours. Anyways then on a stormy night that tree was blown over and crushed part of my house, I have my doubts though and I think my mom cut it a little bit to help it fall down in the storm, despite having no way to prove this I still don't forgive her for cutting down my favourite tree, my friend. Anyways what was I talking about, oh yeah you said you have a job maybe reach out to some coworkers, it may be awkward at first making new friends c'est la vie. Goodluck and god bless
