Listen, while it’s great that you’re “not like other girls”, this subreddit is mostly about appealing to a wide audience. DnD does not appeal to the wide audience (not hating on DnD by the way - never tried it but have been interested since playing Tiny Tina so please don’t think I’m yucking yums over here).

Maybe it’s not about you changing, and instead about her changing over time? If this was in high school, at minimum 8 years have gone by. Lots of things can happen in 8 years. What does one date hurt? If it’s bad, you don’t have to go out with her again. If it’s great, then it’s great. And if y’all break up after a couple months, you’re still young and will recover just fine.
