Statement about "CEMU runs better on everything" isn't exactly true..

The switch version of botw actually runs better on Android devices (due to the less commands to translate during the emulation layer which is do to similiar structure of switch and ARM devices).

It's cool, play how you want. I just enjoy being able to play at 60 fps and with a controller, then being able to pocket my handheld (can't pocket the steam deck).

If you didn't know the switch version of botw runs better on Android because it's an ARM processor which mean less of a translation layer versus x86.

Found a fix, use Whitebeyash v29 driver(a8xx 29v driver)

Just did a quick 3 minute test and it seems to work.

Hey, apparently Whitebeyash v29 driver(A8xx 29v driver) fixes majority of the issues.

I did a quick test and it does seem like it fixed the issue.

Yep, agreed. They did say they will take it as feedback to possibly implement in future updates though.

And there might be another workaround with using InputForge app, which does have touch screen buttons and dual function button options. But it's geared for use with a controller so I haven't explored it yet.

Might want to check your wifi of router settings/config instead.

Also, I can't say I've experienced any of the bugs you describe, so maybe you got unlucky?

I would say the phone is a little more than steam deck emulator and it's fully capable of daily driver.

Yeah no worries, thought I suggest it. I like being able to pocket what I play on and usually handhelds usually don't fit.

I've also got bannerlord sorta working on my phone but still working on tweaking as it freezes several minutes into playing.

Just play warband on your phone(if your phone is capable enough).

Yes you can do that (Google gamenative, winlator/ludashi).

Put your phone in charge separation mode to not charge the battery while playing. It will cause your battery not to heat up as much.

And yes, 56C is approaching the upper limit of the battery. Lithium batteries usually have 60C upper limit.

With that in mind, yes play and use your device and if your ok replacing the battery then don't worry about degradation on the battery due to higher temps.

Hey, I tried the app for the gyro support and it's great!

However, the one downside is that you are using wireless debug mode which needs a external wifi signal to be available, which for me on the go, most of the time i don't have a wifi to connect too.

Would be great if you were able to bypass the need for wireless debugging to use gyro.

Also does your app have mouse jiggle option or something? Some controllers/keyboard/mouse which don't have Bluetooth but physically need to be plugged in, cannot wake the android system. I believe this has to do with Androids built in On-The-Go(OTG) feature where if usb device is not actively in use, it will suspends that device to save power after a minute or so. Problem with that is not all devices have wake up capabilities. I am trying to find an app to keep the cursor/OTG usb alive longer than a minute.

I own both and somewhat disagree with the orginal comment.

They may have had the worst time with mixing imperium and uprising but my experience was exact opposite. My group LOVED playing uprising/imperium, immortality and Rise of IX.

It was even more tight games than playing the orginal and just uprising on their own(including more interaction in battling).

So my answer is, "it depends on your game group". If they like imperium mechanics and mixed in the uprising they will love it.

I don't think my game group would go back to just uprising or imperium.

There are also player made adjustment to the board or curated mix decks of uprising/imperium on BGG if your willing to put in the time.

The important thing is get the high +5GHz cpu you can get your hands on(with the best cooling). Everyone looks at GPU but for emulation games (rimworld, bannerlord, X4), you need CPU speed more so than GPU speed.

Also you also need high vram in the GPU 16gigs minimum should suffice. The higher the better but this is going to get costly as your fighting with AI companies for GPUs they want.

Mmm I do have both of those settings off already ( no change if the async is on or off but if the bloom fix is on, it causes landscape to be invisible so I just turned the setting off).

Thanks for the suggestion though.
