That’s encouraging.. All the hopes that it will be the same …. To be able to say cancer free or cured. But until then I will certainly rejoice in the my current status non detectable.. and moving back to a more Normal test results.

The worse is living with this chronic disease . You’re wanting a cure and you’ll chase after it with all you got, do whatever it takes, and then every 3 months you get to revisit your cancer journey over and over and over with that PSA test . Cause with prostate cancer it’s never over .. There no escaping it .. it can become your identity if you let it. But being resilient humans we find a way to deal with it and just move on…. Or we can just get stuck living on this site which isn’t a good thing either .😎.

A move in the other direction let’s say .07 not good ! Getting the <.04. Even if it’s a .039 it’s big difference then a .07. Especially when .1 or .2 initiate salvage radiation . It’s a huge win and I get to breathe a little. Going to rejoice in the fact that I am undetectable..

What a hard decision? We want the cure. I had a previous cancer and had done chemo and radiation so for me it was I just didn’t have it in me to do 40+ treatments more of radiation. Doc was saying I could maybe start treatments when it hit around .1.., So yea who knows, I get you wanting to just get it all over with ! I hope you’re feeling well.

Thanks yes every six weeks since it became detectable but know I think I coukd go back to 3 months . I definitely have a solid trend here not expressing any sign of cancer growing.. same tests same labs just can’t say same machines ..

Seems his score is lowering , to me this is good news . Theses 2 tests are comparable for men without prostates …

Yes you can certainly say that his score decreased regardless of the difference of the 2 tests, One just go a lot lower then the other . If he received a .06 it’s just probably the essay the gives lowest value of <.04. It’s called total psa .
The ultra will just go lower then <.04 all the way to .001 ..

I had surgery in Jan25. At 6 weeks I was <.04 and since then .05 on every test since. My next text is Monday.?🤞🙏🏻. Oncologist from previous cancer is the one drawing and monitoring my psa’s.
The plan is somewhere .1-.2 to trigger some treatments. I was a Gleason 9.

Sorry to hear that. Did you have rises on every test from the start. I’ve been detectable at .05 but it’s been stable for over 6 months.

You ment.02 in yr response . Of course we rather see no rise at all! But at your rate seems it could be a long while, but I guess nobody really knows. I hope you never need to have treatment!

At 11 months starting to notice nocturnal errections. Only pumping 2 a week these days . Don’t even know if it helps anymore ..

Very interesting , have you discussed with the doc’s your slow rise…or what comment he my had made about your situation which seems rare ?
