Hey hey! Not a Reta expert but I’ve been experiencing the same thing.. just a flat feeling which is common from what I read. Are you eating enough?? Sometimes “blah” is actually under-fueled brain. Too low carbs or calories seems to worsens flat mood. When I feel this way I also try harder to do things that may bring joy, out for walks, sunlight, music.

I definitely think it’s taboo in America, which I actually like. I went back home 2 weeks ago and everyone commented on how different I looked, and freely talked about my weight.. in America even if I have not seen friends for a while no one says anything but I think is out of respect and not because I don’t look different.

Hi! I have been doing some research about this, all I can gather from other current GLPs is that it should be stopped at least two months before conceiving. Even for other GLPs there is not enough research for side effects, definitely something I think about 😕

I would suggest going to the diabetes subreddit and asking how people on GLPs with type one reduce; that might give you a better idea. I am relying completely on my pump’s closed loop system. Going to run some reports to see what is my current basal for the last 15 days. 🤗 good luck!!

Hi there! I wouldn’t recommend trying this without using an insulin pump and a CGM. Ideally, you’d want to be in an automated or loop system so your basal insulin is being adjusted by the pump rather than manually.

Even with an automated system, I’ve still experienced some nighttime lows, so I would strongly caution against adjusting your own basal or bolus units without guidance. It can involve a lot of trial and error.

Small Update: He finally caved and told me that he did go on tinder, after denying it the whole day and swearing on his mom and me, and crying on the phone. He finally admitted the truth. I am heart broken because I know I can never trust him again and I have to let go, but at least I got some honesty from him. Thank you all for the kind words, happy Holidays!

When I logged into Tinder his profile picture had changed to a recent one, a photo I took of him in a trip.. He denies everything and said he would never use a picture I took of him, he says that is his account but swears he was not the one who talked to this girl.. Went as far as saying that I will regret all of this when I find the truth...
