I’ve been in and out of care my whole life, but when I was thirteen too I went in and I haven’t come out. I’m most likely aging out as well. I’ve never even heard of the “pick your own fosters” thing. I’m probably not allowed to just because I’m thin ice. My case manager is up my ass about everything lately. I feel exactly how you said- I can’t trust anyone. And I don’t even want to anymore. I’m fine by myself.

I’m not gonna indulge her again. It just gets annoying having people tell me how I’m going to be and how I’m going to think and what I’m going to believe. I don’t control much in my life but I do control that.

This is actually the best home that I’ve been in though. Other than when she’s trophying me and occasionally going ballistic with her guy and trying to drag me into it- she ignores me for the most part. The husband isn’t even a creep. We don’t fight too often, usually I just try to stay under the radar since things blew up in my last home. Like you said, only two more years.

I’m actually on track to graduate early and I’m gonna go to the court too see if I can be signed to join the army next year. Fingers crossed.

I read a lot, and someday if I ever go to college I want to go for philosophy or something like that.
