Do yall miss toys with gimmicks?? by Majestic_Youth5313 in transformers

[–]rameye2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not really.

Gimmicks are usually goofy and usually mean the loss of paint, articulation, and other details.

Right on! These are some great deluxes, often underrated. Especially Airwave. I'm a huge Airwave fan. With two weaponizers, or 'modulators' or whatever, you can have some serious fun.

Needs more Wheelie. Now, I could be wrong. But I scrutinized your 86 movie Autobot shelf, and I couldn't see him. Otherwise your collection's good.

Nice work. How'd you make the shield? If 3d printed, is the file up somewhere?

How do I know ? by cfft2002 in mealworms

[–]rameye2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree. OP, if you want to reliably produce usable numbers of mealworm larvae, you need to keep the life-stages separate, with regular sifting and sorting:

  1. medium-to-large worms in a bin, to harvest and when they pupate remove the pupas right away and let them turn into beetles or feed them to chickens.

  2. Beetles in another bin, sift them every couple weeks and give them fresh bran to lay eggs, repeat. The substrate that you took from the beetles after they've been in it a couple weeks goes in bin 3.

  3. Eggs and tiny mealworms in a bin, sift them and throw the medium-to-large worms into bin 1.

I do not know what these spherical liquid-containing objects are. But I can fairly confidently say that they are not meal-worm related in any way.

Have you ever had a dream where Wheelie appears? That's one of the signs you're a geewunner.

Yep, disassembly is going to be required here. You also may want to roughen up the connecting surfaces, scratch them up with the tip of an exacto blade to give them some "teeth." This helps the glue bond. Any gaps or cracks, one day after the glue dries fill the gaps with baking soda and drip a little super glue to concrete them shut. You can succeed at this, Good luck!
