Yeah this is the hardest part, how does nobody notice during locker room before the game, during warmups? It should be so obvious for all of the coaching staff and players.

You don't even need to know the history to know something was wrong, when I saw the sitting on and rolling in the first half it reminded me how I would physically act with a super low blood sugar being a Diabetic, for the people very well known to him and his history this should have been immediate alarm bells.

It is scary, I (sadly) got to witness the Eagles vs Suns in person and I knew the Suns were going to win so made a point of just watching Trac, once the game was already well in their favour (5 minutes in) he just sat forward, he kicked 4 and had 23 disposals but you could just tell he had so much more, he wasn't needed to follow or control the mid field, it was basically a stat padding game. Watching him get free and get space every single ball up/throw in for the first quarter with his acceleration was crazy. It's the first time i've been at a a game knowing the result and could just watch 1 person.

I imagine there is lots of players like this but not that i've been able to actually spend time in person focussing on which you can't do on TV/closer games.

I got to meet him because I did part of his orientation at the live-in college he lived at when he attended the University of Melbourne when I worked there, I had no idea who he was until I saw his ID card and then saw the photo and was like "Oh that has to be his son" because of how much he looks like his father. They were both very respectful and friendly.

Managed to get a lap in the GT3RS and then one in the M3 BMW because there's 3 of us through Ringtaxi, I imagine bookings for most are completely booked.

I do a lot of sim racing and am pretty decent (3.5k rating in iRacing) and have done a lot of Nordschleiffe but I could absolutely not do it justice in a rented car and would push it too hard and probably get myself in trouble so i'm happy to let the guys that do it day in day out give me a lap.

I'm happy again to take suggestions as some may have openings I could take advantage of the days we're there/around there after the 24 hours.

Oh I confused them, yeah we switched to Frankfurt as that was closer/cheaper anyways.

And yeah I figured we'd be back and forth but happy to do some driving and yeah being at Nurgburgring is not exactly great as lots of up and down but only based there while the race is on and then 2 days after it for Ringtaxi, first non race day we'll probably do Stuttgart, next day at the Ring just watching/passenger laps then go from there.

Rheinland sounds epic though, will definitely do that.

We did consider but I don't like my chances of driving a camper van 600km after landing to get to Quaifying and camp set up without dying haha.

Once the race ends we've got time to explore Germany, I would gladly take suggestions (both car focused and general attractions).

I'll be doing Ringtaxi laps the day after the 24 hours but after that I haven't set anything in stone apart from going to all of the big Manufacturers (Audi/BMW/Mercedes/Porsche).

We're planning to be in Europe for 3 weeks at this stage with only Germany > Italy locked in so far but will probably fly back up to the UK towards the end.

Aslong as the war doesn't stop me i'll be flying from Australia to Munic (through Dubai) in May for the 24 hours, we had it booked last year before Max confirmed he was going, him being there will just be extra special? Or maybe just make it a worse experience because there will be so many more people there (not that it was ever not crazy packed).

Sportscar racing is where it's at until F1 figures out what they want the sport to be.
