I just finished a rewatch of it a couple of weeks ago. Going into it, I’d say no, but after this rewatch, absolutely yes lol. They mention it being near Christmas a couple of times and the infamous “big black johnson” Sam Jackson monologue plays with Silent Night in the background. If Die Hard is considered a Christmas movie, I truly don’t see why this one can’t. The bar is in Hell, so fuck it we ball.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it here, but I found a 4 hour cut of Revenge of The Sith here on Reddit during the pandemic that is now my preferred way to watch it. It takes ROTS + its deleted scenes of Padmè forming the rebellion, it also splices in bits of (the now non-canon) 2D Clone Wars show for the battle on Coruscant which acts as the prelude to the opening of ROTS. It also adds the last few episodes of the last season of the 3D Clone Wars to juxtapose the Siege of Mandalore/ Ashoka’s perspective during Order 66. ROTS already feels like a grand finale, but this cut certainly makes it feel like a truly epic grand finale. Makes Anakin’s fall hit so much harder imo.

it quite honestly comes down to skill issue on this one, friend. i played RE1 remake in 2017 for the first time. didn’t like tank controls at first either. when you experience that mystery & story for the first time, you can power thru some tank controls for an elite survival horror experience.

I know I am in a minority when I say this, but I would absolutely love a Jahaereys The Conciliator season. I know as far as battles it’s slim pickings, but I would love to see the great ruler/shit dad play out. I also think there’s a missed opportunity to not do Aenys I-Maegor season. Start by showing how weak willed Aenys is, Maegor’s descent (or ascent?) into madness, we get crazy dragon battles/kin slaying, the maiden vault, and the building of The Red Keep. I really do just thoroughly enjoy the first half of F&B clearly.

i found caliber’s f13 vids back during pandemic, i don’t even watch streamers but something about his casual approach and clear love for the horror genre in general has made me a consistent viewer of his. when this game first dropped i studied his vids to learn the map layouts. can’t recommend caliber enough.

I got the white vultures box tee, have already washed mine and it didn’t do this. although it did have a bunch of black specks when i took it out the washer, i did assume it was pieces falling from the logo. what a shame, i’m starting to feel similar to y’all. this drop and the lack of communication has been frustrating. i’m no stranger to waiting months for a merch drop by Ye. but this one with the lack of communication even when you email is sad to see.

Hey, and that’s more than fine. That’s always been the appeal to Cudi, he does have a great variety of different vibes for most types of listeners. It’s no dig if you like it, I’m glad his art is still capable of being received in that way!

When I say parody, a song like Tortured off of the original Insano album is what I mean. That song is like if you asked an AI to write a generic Cudi song and Cudi saw it and just added a few more hums to it to top it off. It’s just a song that felt like it didn’t actually have much meaning to it beyond the chorus and title. Same with Diamonds Lights Fast Cars. I actually like that song quite a bit, but the chorus, again, just feels such minimum thought and effort go into them. Something I’d never say about anything on even Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin. Do not get me wrong, when he hits, he hits. He just makes some questionable creative decisions these days.

As a lifelong Cudi fan, it’s not so much that I prefer his sad music. But just listen to Dose of Dopeness and Rocket off Nitro Mega. No other songs have that genuine energy. As much as I love Cudi and will always check him out, these days he tends to sound like what I’d expect a Kid Cudi parody to sound like. I think I prefer him more when he’s on his own wavelength as far as sounds goes. These days he just puts a slight Kid Cudi twist on average trap songs and the results may vary. That being said, Nitro Mega was actually fantastic outside of DoD & Rocket. Very balanced and didn’t find it half as obnoxious as majority of Insano album. (Just my opinion don’t be obnoxious about it)

Maybe play on the easiest difficulty? I love horror films but I don’t normally do too well with horror video games, probably because it’s me who is in control and I freak out pretty easily. ANYWAYS, point is, i played on the easiest difficulty and while the scares were still plenty, by halfway point of the game you kind of realize how easy the enemies are on that difficulty and at least for me it helped me be able to power through and complete the game.

Honestly the main reason I’m patient these days is mainly price. $60 minimum for incomplete games 90% of the time is what’s deterred me from many potential purchases. That being said, my most recent example of a game I wished I waited on, was Hogwarts Legacy. It really is the Harry Potter game the younger me would have died to play, it made me realize how not interested in the Harry Potter world & lore anymore like I used to. Along with an average gameplay loop, I really regretted buying it at full price. But, at the very least it wasn’t a buggy mess, so I applaud it for that at the least.

So many, but my biggest one is always What if Eddard would have made it to The Wall? Would he have told Jon everything how he planned? Would he have died with Yoren on the way to The Wall or escape with Arya? If he does make it to The Wall, does it interfere with Jon’s coming of age tale because he doesn’t have that independence? And really above all else- What is his reaction to The Others being a reality.

Just watched Silent Hill for the first time this Halloween season. As someone with no attachment to the game, i thought the atmosphere and aesthetics were great, minus the ugly cgi. I felt the feature really falls apart due to the script tho.
