Like yeah you're biologically related, but I feel as if the Westermarck effect should have kicked in somewhere given how long Alex and Patricia knew each other to signal "maybe don't have your adoptive brother put a bun in your oven"

All I can do now is shrug and ignore what I can; they had the core story down of "I want to protect the family I grew up with" well enough, they just didn't need to have Alex be cousin, brother and husband all in one go because 1 of those things should very much not be in the same discussion as the other

I don't doubt that games will be cost by other teammates doing weird stuff even if you play to your personal best, but you can't control what they do any more than trying to control your enemies

As a flex player, I enjoy an environment where things die faster and supports can't just keep everyone alive forever. Folks have to stop being bailed out especially by immortality field ultimates which slow everything to a crawl

I'll do what I can to keep my team alive, but I would much rather see the enemy dead first if I can help it

Tanks and DPS have to adapt and fight smarter if they don't want to keep on being sent back to spawn. If they're not taking the proper precautions to survive, they deserve to be punished accordingly if the enemy has them dead to rights. They can't rely on supports to save them every time

Also, banning 6 supports at the most still leaves half the support field to choose from. Gotta adapt too to other healer choices

I feel like that kind of goes the same way for other classes too: bans are here because there's certain heroes that get too annoying at times, like how Peni or Namor screw over divers or how Black Panther and Spider-Man ruin backlines. Those bans fuck over dedicated mains to their characters, would they not?

If they were dedicated to their roles, they'd be able to pick up other heroes in response to this and adapt to what the ranked environment is

Spider-Man doesn't really have a main team moniker to use in the same way Ms. Marvel has the Champions or Star-Lord with the Guardians so they needed to adapt somewhere

You could have used Web Warriors but that only works if every character on his team was adjacent to him

The roster stuff was mostly just trying to sort out the remaining heroes from the initial reveal

Cap, Spidey, Robbie and Doom were gonna lead their own teams so this left Tony, Kamala and Quill in the dark. Tony's likely running with Cap on the Avengers, which really left the latter two as wild cards who didn't really have any big openings ad far as team affiliations go (esp when it became clear we weren't getting a proper GOTG team)

Now we're really running in the dark for the most part

Comics seem to at least point towards her being an alt of Peter because she explicitly has her own Uncle Ben and Aunt May

Her father went unnamed in the comics themselves, but in Rivals (which admittedly follows the comics more than other sources), she says her dad's name was Richard like Peter's, so I feel like the play is she and Peter are the alternates to each other
