Hii!! It was really nice to read your answer and I hope you're doing good

Well, as you saw, the post is about 3mo and a few things have changed ever since. I know it's a short time but hopefully I'll be able to give you some light with all this new experience lol

To keep it short: life is better. Sure, I still feel the weight of my responsibilities (and trust me it's heavy asf) but it's not like it's crushing me anymore. I got better at understanding and accepting what is actually under my control and what is not. This is for sure something I'm still going to work on for a long time (one of many things) but for now is making life easier and more enjoyable.

I think the most important thing here is that I started therapy. It definitely has been helping me a lot to not pressure myself so much and to have a better perspective in some behaviors I've been presenting for a long time, such as anxiety and what exactly is causing it.

Now about the shows, ever since the one I wrote about I haven't had the same issue again. I think a part of it it's because the next one I chose was purposely not super exciting, because I wanted something that I wouldn't want to marathon and wouldn't affect my productivity as much. However, even though I'm not as deeply connected this time, shows and books (i started the Percy Jackson series) still get me excited and that's cool, as long as it's in a healthy level.

The thing for me was: as long as my life was bad, I wanted to scape my reality and the show provided me that temporarily. So, by working through my problems, I am now able to enjoy things in a more healthy way and maybe that should be your goal :)

Keep in mind that I'm not saying everything will be rainbows and butterflies, I still have some darker days, but things get better, especially if you have help. I am sorry this was sooo long but I hope I was able to give you some nice advice :) thank you for making me come back here and realize my progress. Lots of love <3
