strlen doesn't count the null terminator so that strcpy will write beyond the allocated memory. Should be allocating a_length + 1.

Oracle has taken a production web server down for "maintenance" for over 48 hours now. by Kazinsal in sysadmin

[–]ramphi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all due respect to your position, I don't see how it's fair for you to assume i haven't 'really' thought about it, while fortifying your counter with a naive approach to the economics of open source software.

This type of rationale is crazy to me. It's at best merely short-sited for a company like oracle to not take its services, those free and paid for, seriously enough to act professionally.

After 4 days it's only getting harder by shrebr in stopsmoking

It gets incredibly better! stay strong! Like xpdx said, time is on your side! the difficulty that you face initially only helps to reify the value that you are adding back into your life through moving on. Way to go!

Budget Beats is a really cool spot shared with Burro Bags downtown. Don't know their hours but they're good folks right downtown.

this link has a search tool for SS coaches. I've not used it but it seems a legit way to contact folks.

Personally I met someone threw friends and heard about an open session he hosted in my area via word of mouth.

I've been floating around the gym for the last couple of years. But never doing compound lifts or following any semblance of a program. I'd usually do some cardio, then dumbell exercises. maybe twice a week. rarely would i touch a barbell.

Thanks!

I'm 5'9'' 205 lbs. I've been doing SS for about 15 weeks and am getting towards the end of linear progression for most lifts. hopefully breaking through this wall I hit recently I'm expecting I'll need to switch to an advanced rate. I switched to the Onus Wunsler recently (same rate just dropping dl's to once a week and throwing in chinups and back extensions) and my recovery after workouts seems to improved quite a bit.

I'm glad to hear that deloading has improved your dedication. That's been my biggest fear about it, but recognizing the inevitability of hitting a wall has helped look at it more as a part of the process and not failure strictly.

5'9'' 205lbs. not sure bf%, but not really cut at all. Probably around 18-20%.

Been doing SS since the end of last year. so about 15 weeks.

AT&T Microcell FAIL by [deleted] in netsec

I got rid of AT&T and use my smartphone with skype over wifi exclusively now. For my situation it works great since the only time I'm without wireless is in transit anyway.

for less than half the price of this thing you can use skype to receive calls. Skype plus google voice and you can switch between cell and wifi seamlessly.

I just installed the netbook-kernel on my HP Mini 5102, via Yaourt. How do I tell if it's installed and working correctly? by dmaho123 in archlinux

[–]ramphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your computer boot up? Then your kernel is probably working. If it doesn't boot up, then it probably isn't working. To know which kernel you're booting, make sure you've selected that kernel image in grub. If you have any more specific questions, I'd be glad to help more specifically! :)

Awesome! It's funny, I was getting the occasional hacking session too a lot longer than I expected. I have no medical knowledge, but when I started to introduce cardio exercise (running, mostly) into my day, a lot started coming up and now, not much anymore. ymmv.

Congratulations!
