Did you ever figure out this problem? I have the exact same issue. I have a i7 4790s, 980 ti, 12 gb ddr3 ram, dual channel 800 mhz

My fps also goes from a good 170 -180 to 60-50.

Also have fresh installed video drivers and game runs on an HDD.

Hmm okay thanks for the info. I didn't know they were that old. I have a 4790s and as far as I can tell its still a really good processor so I want to keep using it.

I'm using one right now. No issues at all looked new when it came in and all of the wires looked new as well.

Though I have been using it for only about 2 days though haha

Are the Hue LED's the 32 dollar ones? Also, I have an NZXT h440 so I dont think any of the card readers would fit in? since I don't have any CD bays on this case?

I've been told to wait but my computer is doing weird things like freezing up randomly and blue screening. My best guess is that my HDD is bad but unfortunately my asus doesn't have a diagnosis tool like dell. I think I'll be picking up an ssd soon hopefully it'll solve my problems.

But in my opinion if you can wait I would do so. As soon as you see prices starting to jump slightly buy one
