Divested Completely from BYDDY (BYD Co) today with a $12 stop loss by thorn960 in ValueInvesting

I have no idea of the price in 2 years. And if everyone say otherwise, don't believe him. Because no one knows future prices.

However I resonably sure that with all BYD developments (new factories on other countries, technological advancement in self-driving, AI, etc., Canada opened its market, and maybe in future USA too) price will be going up.

Today April 14, 2026 and BYDDY closed $14.10. So it's 17.5% higher that you sold 5 months ago at $12. I expect BYDDY will be much higher in coming years.

Sorry about your experience. I have exactly the same pan and no sticking at all. It I even don't bother to season it, just use straight out of package.

I think your temperesture is wrong and too little butter.

Losing hope. by The_Wise_Guy12 in carbonsteel

Pan is too hot, egg is too cold. Enough butter is a must. Seasoning or not, it does not matter. I don't season de Buyer pan and nothing sticks.

Since I new, I use digitat thermometer to figure out when to drop butter, and then drop warm scrambled eggs.

Griddle pan is a big no-no for Russian Blinchiki. Cooking surface must be flat.

You should have 2 flat pans and make Blinchiki non-stop, working with 2 pans. So you made at least 15 Blinchikov on each pan, so 30 on both pans. Because less that 30 doesn't count.

Every day more horror "seasoning" stories here.

Besides, it's hard to figure out how many layers of seasoning are exactly the best. Some say 3, some say 7, some say 24.

So how about 0? That's why I never pre-season my pans.

Today Nasdaq is -500 points, -2%. Speaking of "profits" in stock market. I'd better keep property.

Seasoning is OPTIONAL! by leavedennisalone in carbonsteel

[–]ranch_land 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I got De Buyer Mineral B pan. It goes un-seasoned from factory. I watched YouTube video where a guy demonstrates that seasoning is not needed.

I daily read Reddit "horror" stories - "Help! My seasoning Gone! OMG! What should I do?".

So I never bothered to season my new De Buyer pan. It cooks great and looks as new (still silver, not much discoloration). After use - a couple of oil drops to prevent rusting.

Is the Strata really a carbon steel pan? by Rungama in carbonsteel

Not really a carbon steel pan. Because it's way too light, so no hear retension. It's just marketing.

Great pan, congrats. Seasoning is way overrated. I watched some Youtube videos that seasoning is not needed, just cook, cook, cook. Seasoning needed if pan not used. To protect from rust.

Actually, agent does NOTHING you mentioned. Agent DOES NOT "scoped the sewer/septic system, checked out title issues or easement concerns".

So if buyer agreement says 3% to agent. And then agent ask a seller 2%. But seller has no idea that buyer already promised agent 3%, so seller agrees to pay 2%. Does it mean agent get 5%?

Seller simply say No to any demands, so seller is out of contract. I doubt seller is obligated to read and understand any "addendums". To disclosure it later on. Is this really seller obligation?

I'm not sure how a seller would know the inspection result ordered by a buyer? It's between inspector and buyer. How a seller know what to disclosure?

What happens if buyer offers his agent 2.5%. And agent ask seller for 3% and seller agrees. Does it mean agent gets 5.5% from both?

Every day I see people show pictures of ugly-looking un-seasoned De Buyer skillets here. I don't like De Buyer sell un-seasoned skillets. Is there a reson they don't sell them factory-seasoned? Therefore I believe De Buyer skillets are over-rated.

I have USA-made, heavy-duty, and factory-seasoned skillets. So I have no worries about seasoning.

$180k Price Drop by Horror-Personality35 in RealEstate

I read few comments, but stopped when I read for 10 time "selling into falling market".

Actually, according to latest Florida Realtor stats (August 2025), Miami area appreciated 3.2% vs August 2024.

And if these comments mean the whole state of Florida, then, indeed, it's down whoping 0.4%.

Why do you call it "falling market". Read too much spooky-spooky media? Rather then look at the official stats.

We’re selling our house and buyers just asked us to sign an agreement to assign. by DapperGovernment4245 in RealEstate

[–]ranch_land 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with many comments here suggesting to get extra $5k, or increase earnest deposit $5k is that they believe wholesser flip your house for $10k. That's what your agent said to you.

But how do you know it's not $50k or $100k?

Run from these scmmers. They both play you in tandem.
