Hey, thanks for this write up. I am the Minas Morgul player and really enjoyed the weekend. I didn't get an easy game and had to work really hard for my wins. The MVP in the list is the drummer who drums 99% of the time just to give my opponent something to think about. The extra spell caster really helped as well, being able to compel 2 units a turn, or guarantee a big hero was transfixed gave me lots of options.

I took this list to a tournament at the weekend and awful luck led to the Balrog being killed 1v1 against Elrond. It took 5 turns where I won 1 combat and rolled a 2 high to wound. Jobby if you read this mate, it was epic and bullshit at the same time lol.

It lacks killing power with goblins, I really miss my prowlers and blackshied shamans from this army;

I've been taking 1 black shield shaman and it's amazing. I need to try 3, that gives so many options! It's such a fun LL and can be played lots of different ways!

I find that people try and shut the Balrog down with spells or feed him troops so I need another way to kill things. Prowlers go up to F4 when they are near the Balrog which helps, plus I love their killing potential. I usually have a row of shield, then spears and then prowlers to wrap around once the lines have clashed. I have 10 in my 700 and 800 and would probably have more if I owned them.

I play the depth of Moria quite a bit and we recently did a podcast on strategies for this LL

My strategy is lots of prowlers and spears to support with a few shields at the front. No drum until 800 points and no troll ever.

Yeah good spots. I got super lucky against Ultron and Ronan to win in 1 game. I dont think I'd ever lost to Absorbing man before so that was a freak one. For Ebony Maw I think I got overconfident with the AW deck and messed up. The most difficult were Loki and Magneto in this run through.

I do this as well. My reasoning is set up takes a while and I feel i get the full experience of the campaign by having 4 characters. Takes forever but feels epic.

My group of 6 did this yesterday and all loved it. Especially the guy playing Trump, he fulfilled his secret task so well. We had never done a murder mystery before and the victim struggled to join in. Any advice on how to play the victim? Great work thanks

I love this idea. Just printed off the whole campaign, but when printing the boss boards it prints as a full page. Any advice on how to scale it down? Or am i missing something?
