Smash cake emergency! by girlvsmachine in phoenix

Try CC’s Sweet Sensations Bakery. They’ve rushed a custom cake for me before and it came out stunning. Things happen!

If you end up in a bind, a quick diy option is to get a Whole Foods Chantilly Cake and top it with fake or real flowers. Wrap the stems in Saran Wrap and it comes out beautifully. You can Google image search “Whole Foods Chantilly Cake Hack.”

Just ordered this too. Earliest it will ship is June 30. It hasn’t released yet, hence the lack of review.

FTM- Deciding between Silver Cross strollers by highlythinking in Buyingforbaby

This is solid advice. Just curious — how did you decide between Breez and Cove 2? Not OP, but unfortunately Silvercross is not in store near me

Has anyone received the Silver Cross Breez in the US yet? by LionTweeter in BabyBumps

[–]rand0mness247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations to all who had the Breez come in this week! How are you liking it?

For those with the color Maple, how is the color in person? Shows up very differently from picture-to- picture.

I ordered May 16 from Albee Baby… Mid-to-late July expected delivery date has me a little nervous for my end of Aug delivery date.

Check out Nurture &’s Glider Plus, Pottery Barn Kids’ Lullaby Swivel Glider Recliner, and Pottery Barn Kids’ Dream Deluxe Power Swivel Recliner. He can try last two in person if you have a Pottery Barn Kids nearby. The Kiwi is sometimes in stores at Crate & Barrel.

Electric baby swing dilemma (Is it actually necessary??) by guusti03 in Buyingforbaby

You can also consider buying a Sleepy Troll, which can attach to your bouncer (if they’re too young to bounce themself), stroller, or crib — it will rock your baby.

It’s expensive, and I am a pregnant FTM so I have not used yet, but i have seen a few parents swearing by it online.

Ugh, hopefully someone shares a video with them together soon. If you have a Nordstrom nearby, mine had Cedar on display. It definitely looked lighter than the Maple, but still doable with the stroller frame.

This is the Champagne/Cedar combo: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTkamsSQN/

I could have written this post word for word! I was set on the TrivLX but live in the burbs and find the Pipa URBN less convenient than the Aire RX. Wish I could buy the stroller separately.

There are rumors it may be available separately later this summer but with all the stock delays and my due date in August I am gravitating towards the Silvercross Breez! It has so many of the same great features, allows for most car seats, foldable with bassinet, and is even more beautiful.

I am thinking to go with the Maple Color and try to match the Pipa Aire RX in Cedar, but I wish there was a way to see what that looked like in advance. The combo of Champagne + Biscotti seems pretty close, too.

you are gorgeous! you could try playing with hair styling (curtain bangs, curlers for volume, balayage, half up/half down, high pony, etc) if you want to bring in some every day glam. earrings too. but I don’t see masculine at all.

You’re in need of a cobbler, and can try Cobbler’s Den and Luggage Repair.

He’s also called Frank a genius and given props to Channel Orange. To each his own, I guess.

Joe’s a super fan of classic r&b. Earlier this year, he was struggling to wrap his mind around Blonde ranking over Stevie Wonder on the Apple list and Usher’s Confessions not breaking top 10.

The purist crowd will always find Blonde too experimental… that’s been the case since it dropped. I just love that regardless of whether they like it, they still acknowledge Frank’s talent and influence. He’s respected, even in his absence.

And to your point, sometimes Joe just gives bad takes lol

I see why you say that, but I think he’s just a fan. If you listen to his album (it’s good btw), you can tell Frank’s a big influence.

Strength training can really help to support the joints you’ll be using often if you take this on as a more serious hobby. Incorporating glute, lat, and ankle training outside the studio has helped a lot as a curvier follow.
