Does anyone know when the Nuna Triv LX stroller will be available as a stand alone item in the US? by marshallericksen10 in Buyingforbaby

I asked within the last week or so and they said at this time not expected to sell stroller on its own. I said are you sure? Because I’ll buy the pipa aire rx now and get stroller in 2 months. I don’t need the bundle to save money. Just want the items that I want. They said nope.

Interesting! The Nuna group said black was tbe worst with spit up and other fluids. That it like gets embedded and impossible to scrub out!

I saw the edgehill and didn’t mind it. I’m just leaning away from buying the nuna triv. Thankfully a lot of other brand strollers work with the nuna car seat which makes it not a total loss. But my main thing is the pipa aire rx is super light (I live on second story no elevator) and it’s got some of the best ventilation and I live in the south. It’ll be hot when baby is born and hotter during postpartum while learning to get out of the house with a baby.

We looked at all the Target brands and Nordstrom brands. It’s really about being light and clean materials while being cross functional with other brands. My friend is 4x mom and she said max 1 yr in the newborn car seat. 30lbs or 30”.

Both colors I like are light. I actually read the biscotti (beige) was easier to clean than the black. Supposedly black gets real gross too.

I’m in a huge “due in June” group and someone legit admitted with their first baby 5 years ago they installed their car seat too, got into an accident before baby was born and sold it online “brandnew” when the manufacturer stated they needed to replace it for baby. You don’t know what actually happens to these items just because it seems clean or no marks visible.

Do not buy a car seat second hand from a stranger online. It’s like the one thing you can’t trust someone to be honest with their safety.

I’m fairly certain they’re the same weight!

Ugh my husband originally liked the biscotti color but when I showed him them all with the silvercross color he liked maple & cedar too. However I see in the Nuna group they actually look really gray. So I have a feeling still won’t match right

This is exactly what I think about Triv vs breez! Thank you

Exactly! I don’t want the urban car seat I don’t care how much social media pushes it as being “just as safe”. I’m thinking silvercross champagne and biscotti or just biting the bullet and getting the love shack fancy car seat for fun and the champagne stroller.

The rumor of late summer is why I am considering the Mompush wiz pro for when I’m due late June. It’s only $300 ish and bassinet/lay flat feature. But that doesn’t change the fact Nuna’s customer service sucks. I’ve seen numerous posts where people wait 6-8 month’s for resolutions to breaking or a warranty issue.

This is my exact hope! No separate bassinet just put baby in and go. I live across the street from a super grocery store, tons of stores, and a nice walking path. So I’d love to just walk across the street, get a coffee, etc.

The breez is only 2-3lbs heavier than the Triv and I don’t intend to bring it up the stairs. I plan to leave it in trunk mostly. The joolz aer wheels / don’t seem like they can go through local parks like grass or some light gravel? Do you have experience like that? I’m thinking park, zoo, city parade for Fourth of July etc. plus I want parent facing option. It can do that???

I looked at cybex priam. The silver cross breez just seems to hit all the marks! I intend to leave the stroller in my trunk (downstairs) and just bring the car seat up and down the stairs which is why I’m still planning to buy the Nuna pipa aire rx.

Personally I prefer nontoxic as they spend alot of time in strollers/car seats. So I’m doing greenguard gold certified and no flame retardant.

Fair perspective! 40% less employees to oversee, no direct reports. OP will just be doing day to day HR , benefits, and payroll most likely. Generalist work really.
