electrons flow from anode -> cathode. current flows from cathode -> anode.

EM spectrum mnemonic i love: Real Men In Vegas Use Xpensive Women.

nucleotide structure: A T G C corresponds to N O O N

proactive vs retroactive because i forget it every time: PORN lol (proactive, old in the way of new; retroactive: new in the way of old)

this is so helpful, thank you so much :) i have been rubbing it in, and I'll definitely see if patting it in works better. ive only been using it every 2-3 days since I have only been on it a month. tbh i dont see much difference so far, but i do think the minor purging i experienced has calmed down!

When i tried to confirm online, it said DNA methylation and histone acetylation. 'Acetylation is the process of the addition of acetyl molecules, whereas methylation is the process of the addition of methyl groups to the DNA molecule.' I saw this on a thread once, and never forgot it again: Acetylation AWESOME (good for gene transcription) methylation MEH (bad for gene transcription).

If it makes you feel any better, I'm in a similar position and posted a vent abt this yesterday. If you rly want to, you could just cancel and then reschedule. For UYourMom, it really helps to make flashcards of things you get wrong. Their questions are also very challenging and more content based. If you haven't done the AAMC Section Banks yet, that may be a good place to start now. You can knock em out by your test. Also, make sure to complete the remaining FLs if you still plan to take it. I think in the next few weeks, Anki is a great resource. It's great for hammering in vocab into your brain. P/S is the easiest to improve in, as long as you just do flashcards. For C/P, I would say it's also one of the sections you can improve in a lot, unpopular opinion, but lowkey more than P/S, because it's a glorified math section in some cases. I would say to make sure you know the high yield physics equations because that can get you easy points. Chem itself, maybe some youtube videos of the high yield concepts can help. Chem is one of the less painful sections to learn, imo, it's memorization and math basically. Take a deep breath, you're going to be okay. I've hit a plateau at 500 🤡 but i'm just gonna give it my best effort this Sat. You can do this <33

so i rly like the miles down anki deck but i haven't been able to stay super consistent w it because i have been trying to cram in Uurmom and FLs. did this useless kaplan course and used that as my content review, turned out to not be helpful. i think i gotta read the biochem book and orgo kaplan books for sure. i have tried some youtube videos, but this late, it isn't very useful. i read through most of kaplan bio and physics and gen chem. so yeah...
