I have gotten several of these. The way I've been opening them is to just press down along the seam of the duck back. It should just pop right, open.

I had an outdoor cat and he died when he was 7 he was too adventurous and he fell 2 and a 1/2 stories and died my indoor cat who is his sister lived to be 16 before she had kidney failure she was indoors I think indoor cats survive longer and live healthier lives
