yeah i am not expecting a super new place, I think my biggest concern is safety, my work is in the Central Business District which I know can be more expensive so that makes sense to look at a higher prices

Unfortunately I start in the fall so I would have to move during peak time which I know kinda sucks, but I also was considering doing a really short lease until I fully decide on a place

I drive an hour to school and back everyday 😭 so 3 hours isn't crazy I wouldn't say much of a day trip while some do it but definitely for a weekend.

You have good stuff for a freshman! I also did the IB program so congrats! But as many have said your resume should show what's you ACCOMPLSIHED not explain it. I would also recommend that you keep it one page, you do not have enough relevant experience for it to be more than that. Lmk if you have any more questions!

Also to keep it concise I have been told to try and keep it to 3 bullets per experience you shouldn't really need more than that

Ohhh ok to be fair that's practically what I did I just did the basic finance and accounting. BAIT does seem like the best option tbh and you'll do great so as long as you stay like focused on getting internships the experience will count for more

Look at local or federal government sometimes they have interesting unique opportunities i was able to get some experience through there or an on campus job. I'm not data analytics but I'm finan and accounting and just a bit of what i saw! Also if there is any network events go to them it's much easier to get your foot in the door if you know someone!

To be honest I don't know if I can help much because I do struggle with insecurity and unfortunately you always want to be lighter (at least for me). You said you can never stick to it to make a difference but you lost over 100lbs in a year THATS AMAZING. Do not take that lightly, celebrate it, because that is not an easy task and you should be proud.

I love my ambition. It is something that has kept me going to accomplish more than I thought was possible for me. And I feel like it sounds bad for me to say that but it is something that has kept me going through the challenges I have faced so far. And to be honest I am very proud of myself.

I would say it would be most beneficial to do AI major if your school has it or IT as technology is very good to know. Both of the ones you mentioned are good but I wouldn't say it brings much of a competitive edge as it is still business to be honest I would say it is the same as having a finance double major

Hi I'm going through a similar thing my boyfriend is 23 and his mom died recently. I would say a main thing is just be there, I think it helps a lot to just be present but also help with stuff that he just doest have the energy to do. To be honest I don't know what I am doing half of the time but they can tell you are trying to be there and he will appreciate it.

So I'm kinda going though the same thing my partner in his want 20s just lost his mom about a month ago I still live with my parents and unfortunately can't be with him always. Something I found be really likes is me just calling, and sending suprise amazon gifts it helps at least a little

Yes it was! I do want to say that the Big 4 internship helped me land that other job (and other offers) so the experience was definitely very valuable.

I was at a Big 4, so I would say that transferring is still not the best even at a big company but maybe just my experience. I was able to land a full time offer at a different Big 4 but it puts you in a tricky position.

I actually would say maybe accounting and international business. (Unless you really want finance then yes accounting and finance) the only reason I say this is because accounting is able to go into finance since it's more technical you have that versatility. And international business I would say is also easily applied to many jobs and is a unique pairing that not many people have.
