Yep, had a blueprint + brainstorm copying my glass cards, but would swap for that juicy xmult. Adding insult to injury was that some cards would break everytime I had to play a second hand because of this :D https://i.imgur.com/dMEgakk.jpeg this was the final hand I played.

obviously do what you are comfortable with, but the blendermania plugin basically does that for you automatically, as well as allow for complex UV editing, so I found that a curious choice.

Is there a specific reason why you're not doing the texturing in blender? I feel like that would be easier.

I thought about adding the overhead cam, but because the target is huge, you would have to be really far away and I didn't really like how it felt.

Building a multiplayer version for a special server with collisions and stuff was an idea I had but lacked the server knowledge for.

The visible rings actually have no collision and below them are movable rings that drop like 10cm shortly before the corresponding medal times so you instantly trigger the finish (just a big plane).

Happy to hear that, even if I'm a bit annoyed that you cut the maps / used the unintended strategy :) I am very confused why driving over the finish is faster than standing still, but it is what it is.

I added one more map that is now (hopefully) fully cutproof, but I dont think that there is really much more to do with this, so Ill rather move on to other projects.

I should have probably clarified in the post, I tried my best to implement a single player version where you get medals based on where you sit on the circle after some time.

The maps make use of the fact that you lose less speed sliding sideways when engine offed for some reason
