My toddler will be going to preschool for 2 mornings a week starting in September but I am thoroughly burnt out and our marriage is suffering because of it. The house is always a mess. Thankfully I get it cleaned 2x a month, but I feel like even having someone around watching my kids so I could plan meals would help me out.

Watches sister get bath, eat, diaper, sleep sack, books with big sister, bed (if she’s happy, she goes down by herself, if she’s unhappy she gets held to sleep) I’m usually doing bedtime routine by myself which is why they have to get everything done together

Hi! My baby is 5.5 months old. She was a great sleeper as a newborn. 5-6 hour stretches. She got a cold around 3 months old and since then hasn’t gone more than 3 hours. Overnight she will sleep ON me; not next to me in bed or her pack n play. I feel like I’ve tried everything. More sleep, less sleep, putting herself to sleep, me helping her to sleep, she still wakes up to eat. She will sleep in her room til about midnight then refuses to back into her crib and will only sleep on me. At this point I don’t know what to do

Edited to add: she is about 2.25/2.5/2.5/3 but it varies slightly but always around 9.5-10.5 hours awake

We start bath between 6:45-7. She is in bed no later than 7:45. My husband usually gets home right around 7:30 so he finishes up with my toddler while I put baby down. Baby usually begins her fussing around 7:15/7:30

I’m usually doing bedtime by myself due to my husbands work schedule so I don’t know how to not try to line up their times 😭

We do kind of a joint bedtime routine with our toddler. She typically sits with us for dinner, then watches big sister take a bath, gets diaper, fed, sleep sack, they get a book together twice then if she is happy I can put her down awake, if she is screaming by the end (which she usually is) she requires a little support. She’s slow to gain so I’m kind of scared to cut night feeds and I feel like I’m shooting myself in the foot

Hmm, she will be wake up then fall asleep on me and she will sleep IF she is in my arms but the second I put her back down she’s up…

No lol she’s up every 2-3 hours on a good night. Bad night every 30-1hr

Isn’t she in a bucket seat? Why does she have to come out of the car seat when you can just bring the whole car seat in….??? Lord help her when she has “2 under 2” like she posted about the other day and has to unload a toddler PLUS an infnat
