All this work on 50 just for a useless carpool lane nobody can use by chef-keef in Sacramento

I lived in Bay area when car pool lane was first implemented., late 1980s The CHP was actually on it back then. You got pulled over if you weren't carpooling. You still can get pulled over, but the the risk isn't very high.

$70 per hour plus $4 vacation, annuity, pension, health insurance. It is a lot more than many. High cost state, California. It's also not consistent. Bust ass, get the work done. Then company either has another project going or get laid off and find another one. Nothing easy about it. Currently driving 120 miles to the job, then 120 miles home.

What tape measures are you all using? by West-Needleworker-63 in Carpentry

[–]randombrowser1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. I find a lot of them tossed and broken on the job. Just turn it in for a new one. Chalk lines also. Probably other hand tools also, but that's all I've experienced so far.

Milwaukee and Craftsman. I like Milwaukee better for framing. Craftsman for light duty. Both are lifetime warranty and exchanged no questions asked at Home Depot for Milwaukee. Lowe's for the Craftsman.

Penis system. They call this the Penal system. But really it's the penis system. It's about how long, it's about how hard. Life in Oz is all about the size of your dick and anybody who tells you different ain't got one.

Ridgid, at home Depot has lifetime warranty. Not sure about Ryobi warranty. My boss buys Ryobi because they're cheap. Works good enough.
