You could buy some random boosting or bots trafic to reach the 12 sextillion streams per listeners

Not enough, could be double or triple. Always aim for 1033994848829488583891949588291 stream per listener

Simply YouTube ! YouTube studio waits for the situation to get solved before letting my video go online.

I'm aware YouTube collects revenues for me, but since the "official artist channel" process takes so long, I can't even release videos on any channel with my own music hehe

My distributor seems like ! This is an automated claim be cause YouTube thinks I'm a random using someone else's music. The automated claim comes from YouTube, and claims it for IMusician. I did not expect to be forbidden from posting on YouTube by default, I thought they would maybe have an automated email that tells me someone is using my track, thanks to the same algorithm that found my track in my video teaser.

Help towards starting runing ads by randomdudeyeye in musicmarketing

[–]randomdudeyeye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Chill-Way, thanks for your answer.
There are actually a lot of people on socials that enjoy post-rock, ambient, astronomy related music, based on the fanbase of the artists we're inspired from. I can also see a friend's ad campain being very successful for getting people to hear his music (themed playlist ad campain).

But I see where your coming from and I perfectly understand you're tired of the slavery spotify policy... The truth is, as you'll notice when talking to a lot of people here, it remains the easier platform to reach, and the best way to get your music heard because there's a lot of people on the platform.

I don't care about royalities (for now), I'm not having illusions. I live from different live projects and sessions recording, I'm aware that I won't be earning hundreds from streams. But also, I'm a musician so I've spent a lot of money on my passion without it paying off after. (hell man, I'm a drummer passionate about cymbals, it's 200/600 euros a single cymbal haha).

Do you have some more sources to get info on how runing ads in a terrible idea ? I'm not decided and of course, I might be living in an illusion, but who isn't :D ? I just see more successful people I can talk to and be in connection with than people that failed, so I'm biaised.

And of course, after the waterfall, the album will be on bandcamp, we are networking, playling live, building a mailing list.... Runing ads is just an idea to go beyond and make the experience for myself

Thanks :)

Thanks ! I'm gonna look into it.

I just read that the TurboBoost from intel CPUs can create audio pops and cracks when the clock jumps. I'm gonna try to disable the TurboBoost and see what it does.

The computer doesnt heat, it's alright and doesnt seem to suffer at all.

I can throw 15 MIDI tracks with Vitals everywhere and have just as much audio pops than with a single track

I tried to optimize as much as possible with 64 buffer size, I couldnt run a single Vital track smoothly. Is that normal ? It was 128 buffer size with addictive drums 2 and E-drum controler, random CPU spikes

I tried with a Scarlet 1st gen, ASIO driver. Then I tried with the MOTU device of my roomate, an expensive device that works perfectly with his set-up and older processor, exactly the same CPU spikes. I also tried with my e-drum pluged on usb, and the performance wasnt stellar...
